  1. This could finally be our opportunity to get Jon "Magic Man" Dorenbos back!
  2. Also took out two QBs. I'm not even sure the Bills have dirtied or lightly scuffed-up any part of a QB this season.
  3. Check out this pic...apparently it's legit. Tiger duffs a shot directly into a camera lens and the photographer got the picture. http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/blog/devil_ball_golf/post/Tiger-Woods-gives-us-the-greatest-golf-photo-you?urn=golf-274331
  4. How "funny" would it be if Brohm comes in towards the end of the season, plays well and then decides to sign somewhere else next year? That would be very Buffalo Bills-like.
  5. Well they better figure that out before the end of the season then.
  6. Keep the scheme (and actually run it as intended) and dump the second-rate players.
  7. Tailgater Ken Johnson returns, praises Buffalo Bills
  8. The biggest flaw here is where you conceded that KC had a rough first year (4-12 in a pretty weak division) ...since the Bills are also in the first year of their latest rebuilding project. Not saying that I completely disagree with your premise, but it seems like this new regime should be given a similar benefit of doubt.
  9. Wow. Just tried this for kicks and I don't think there are even ten! Sure, if you concede on some guys who have some flaws, but as far as "blue-chip" guys there aren't many. Plus two of them would be kickers.
  10. It's like Kelsay is constantly surprised and unprepared when the ball carrier is in front of him. He needs to engage his blocker with more of an LB mentality where he stands his man up, keeps his balance and is prepared to shed him in either direction while keeping his eyes in the backfield. Instead, he has kept his old DE mentality where he picks a technique ahead of time and commits to getting around one side of his blocker. When he's actually in position, it's out of dumb luck.
  11. TBH, I expected much more of a shakeup the minute Chan walked in the door. I don't know if it was out of respect for someone at OBD or what, but he was way too open to the idea that some of these guys can be "coached up" or whatever.
  12. People put way too much damn emphasis on the coin toss. It's one of the hindsight things that's basically useless to fuss about. You're never going to know the correct choice till after the game's over and it's still debatable at that point. The decision didn't set the tone for the game, it was the swiss cheese defense that didn't do squat to stop them on the opening drive, and it was the inept offense and special teams that allowed the Jets to walk all over them. Just look at what they did in the second half...came out of the locker room with momentum...crowd's fired up after the touchdown thinking the Bills might be able to turn things around....then they go 3-and-out.
  13. Thank you.
  14. I also tried to keep an open mind and give Kelsay an honest evaluation today and he was even worse than I expected.
  15. Not sure the comparison to O.J. Simpson on any level is really going to help.
  16. Frankly, I'm not too concerned that this will happen.
  17. It was nice to see someone be honest instead of hyper-political.
  18. Also, make this sauce a day or two in advance. You can thank me after the tailgate. 1 quart cider vinegar 12 oz Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 1 T red pepper flakes 2 T salt 1 tsp black pepper 2 T Worchestershire sauce Juice of one lemon 1 T chipotle powder 1 tsp dry mustard 1 T onion powder Bring to the boil, then simmer for 10-15 minutes. Let cool, and bottle.
  19. A fully cooked pork shoulder will stay hot enough to pull for appx 5-6 hours after it is removed from the smoker if wrapped in heavy duty alum foil, then wrapped in towels and stuck inside an insulated cooler. Then you can pull it right at the tailgate. As someone else suggested... if you end up needing to reheat it, adding some apple juice to the pulled meat keeps it nice and moist, but I also put a little extra rub in the apple juice to boost the flavor a bit as well. I don't recommend adding any sort of liquid in with the foil-wrapped meat because that will only make the crispy bark mushy and break down and wash away some of that great flavor.
  20. Weird that this happened because I was checking his stats out yesterday. I think he had around 6-7 sacks in 2009 which is very good for a 3-4 DE. Wonder what the problem is?
  21. Hey...back already?

  23. This phenomenon not unique to the Jags board...trust me.
