I think the intent of the post was to show us what it would be like if John Madden was asked to comment on the subject.

Next problem to work on.....getting all that sh-- done before Mexico is empty.

Horton's doughnuts are barely edible. Their coffee is good, but for some reason they can't make it consistantly good. I never know what I'm going to get. KK is fine (too sweet), but you can't beat DD when it comes to mass produced doughnuts and consistantly good coffee.

Never heard of the others but from what I've seen, when you have a Cheesecake Factory, not many other restaurants get business.

I like The Raconteurs too, but I've only heard a couple of their songs. Jack White from The White Stripes is in that band.

Is anybody watching this show on FX? It's really funny. I've never heard anybody mention it so I thought I'd see if anyone here had been watching. I'd put it in the "irreverant comedy" genre. I think it's on Thursday and Friday nights. Check it out...I recommend it.

Eventually Simmons flew the band to Electric Lady studios in New York to record a demo. The songs on this demo were "House of Pain" and "Runnin' With the Devil". Ed disliked his playing on the demo because he wasn't using his own equipment and had to overdub guitar parts, which he had never done before. Ultimately Van Halen ended up with a demo tape but no recording contract. As Simmons was getting back with his band Kiss, he decided to forgo any more involvement with the band." I had always heard that he had something to do with the discovery of VH but it doesn't sound like much actually came out of the encounter.
