As time has gone by and not a single animal has been found to corroborate the wet market theory, there is no choice but to say it came from the lab. We won't ever get 100% proof unless China admits it, but that's never going to happen.
As for the virus, I think it escaped accidentally. And my theory it was being engineered for release at a later date.
We did see people say in early 2020, mere weeks after what we were told was the initial outbreak, that proximal origin was the final word. Follow the science. Case closed you science denying conspiracy theorists.
The fact that China won't open up its databases and notebooks from WIV only bolsters the plainly obvious lab theory.
And then there's scientists who understand basic molecular biology and the exceedingly rare arginine codons in the spike protein furin cleavage site and the molecular fingerprints left behind by the restriction enzymes used to insert them into the viral genome.
