For me it's awakened many accounts from my ignore list that I haven't seen here in the cesspool for a long time. I'm used to seeing the same five useless commies pop up as ignored content in threads. Since yesterday it's like 15+ different accounts. Diversity is our strength!

My most controversial take of the evening is that it's a bad idea to prosecute your political opponents on trumped up charges widely regarded across the political spectrum as being politically motivated. I watched Vladimir Putin's opponents go to jail, into exile or die in Russia. It's not a good look. And it becomes increasingly difficult to argue why the other side shouldn't do the same when they get into power unless you never let the other side get into power at all. Ordinary Americans will pay for these elite power games and so will America's allies around the world.
