The Biden administration is absolutely to blame for the skyrocketing egg prices. There have been avian flu outbreaks many times over the years, and there has always been real concern that a H5N1 strain will mutate to gain human to human transmissibility. However, the remedy has never been to slaughter 100+ million chickens. You can agree or disagree with the remedy in this recent outbreak, but it was most certainly the cause of the egg shortage and nationwide egg price spike.
