Must read insider account of part of the Fischer case. I missed a call earlier today from attorney Dave Fischer. I will call him back tomorrow. I think he's on X but I couldn't find his account name. If you know him @ this post to him. But here is something everyone should know. Dave practices out of Maryland, mostly Baltimore. Dave's client, Thomas Caldwell, was among the very first J6 defendants hunted down who had a connection to the Oath Keepers -- he was never a member, but that didn't discourage the FBI. Tom had a long and distinguished military career in the U.S. Navy. Early in the investigation the FBI ran across some messaging where Tom mused about making a crossing of the Potomac in a boat with a cache of weapons. In January. As it turns out, the FBI later found a computer file written by Tom that included a very similar scenario laid out boldly.... In a screenplay he had written for a spy thriller set in DC. The Govt ignored all the signs that maybe there was a context to all this that they were missing. Tom was the first named defendant in the first Oath Keeper indicted, was put in the "Leadership" echelon of the Govt construct about what the Oath Keepers were, and given the nickname "Naval Commander." Dave Fischer was hired by Tom right at the start, and for many many months, Tom's case took all of Dave's time. Long before the other attorneys who joined him in the trial came into the case, Dave was unwinding all the details and exposing all the holes and wild exaggerations being peddled by the Govt. Take myself -- I came into the Oath Keeper case officially (I was lurking back stage) in April 2022. Dave Fischer had been working for Caldwell for 15 months at that point. The attorneys for Stewart Rhodes came into the case in January 2022, 12 months after Dave. The case originally had 11 defendants charged together. Because no DC Courtroom could deal with that many defendants and attorneys, the judge divided the case into two groups for trial. He did so by putting all the defendants who were detained in custody in the first trial, and all the defendants who were released on bond in the second trial. With the split was 6-5, and THE GOVT asked to have Caldwell moved into the first trial even though he was on bond because he was part of the OK "leadership". It was mainly the "leaders" -- according to the Government -- who were detained. They did this even though by that point they knew that while Caldwell had some contact with Oath Keepers -- mostly in North Carolina -- he was not a member of the Oath Keepers, and on January 6 he was with his wife outside the Capitol and never went inside. Tom spent a short period of time in detention pretrial before he was released because of chronic medical issues. After today, those may be the only days Tom ever spends in jail. He was convicted at trial on only a single 1512 count -- and nothing else. Dave led the group in fighting to get that charge dismissed. Now with the reversal today in Fischer, Tom's conviction will almost certainly be overturned. Dave has kept him out of custody on bail while Fischer was pending because it was the only charge the jury convicted him of. Now there will never been a sentencing hearing for Thomas Caldwell, the Oath Keeper Naval Commander only in the vivid imaginations of a group of DOJ prosecutors. PS -- One of the best moments of the first trial involving Dave came during his questioning of the FBI Case Agent who "quarterbacked" the entire Oath Keeper investigation -- all 20+ individuals targeted for prosecution. Dave honed in on a key issue that he was confident he knew the answer to and he wanted to get it out of the Agent. He went through a series of questions establishing the scope of the investigation that the Agent had led, and the hundreds of interviews done all over the country by hundreds of Agents in building the case against the Oath Keepers. These interviews included several "Confidential Human Sources" who were members or close friends of members, some of whom were close to the national leader, Stewart Rhodes. Dave asked "How many of those hundred or more people who were interviewed told you that they knew about an Oath Keeper plan to go into the Capitol on Jan. 6 to stop the vote?" Dave knew the answer, and to his credit the FBI Agent didn't try to avoid answering. None. Does that include the CHSs? Yes. So no one at any point during your investigation told you that they knew of a plan by the OKs to interfere with the vote count? Correct. Think about that -- the CHSs were inside the organization. Stewart Rhodes and others were not shy about sharing their views on the election. But not one person interviewed by the Govt in its search for information said they heard of any plan to engage in a "seditious conspiracy" to prevent the peaceful transfer of power by stopping the electoral vote count. It took you 3 and 1/2 years Dave -- but today Thomas Caldwell is a winner.

This clip of Obama joking about being the man behind the curtain is of course an obvious cheap fake. And when Axios or Politico reports that Trump is planning similar moves and becoming a dictator no such cheap fakes are necessary, because it's so obviously true.

Also at least Trump on a few occasions said that he wasn't going to initially address the question and instead go back to the previous topic.

It's the most difficult and strenuous job in the world. Shooting him up with drugs so he can have public moments of appearing vigorous is good enough for us!

With all the talk of replacing Biden seeming to be logistically impossible at this point and Obama and Clinton backing up oatmeal for brains, it occurred to me none of this was ever about replacing Biden, it's about replacing Trump. Trump's sentencing is days before the GOP convention. If he's sent to prison that will certainly create an unprecedented situation in Milwaukee. Unprecedented situations call for unprecedented solutions......

Joe Biden knows how to tell the truth! Tell us again Joe about how your son died in Iraq and how you were a civil rights activist. This clip also doesn't mention Joe bringing up very fine people and suckers and losers hoaxes again. Jake Tapper himself has discredited the very fine people nonsense on his show.

There were enemies within from day one. There were attempts to replace Trump from the moment he came down the escalator at Trump Tower in 2015 to this very friggin day.

It was a historic debate. First time ever both candidates lied / made things up. Multiple times each even. Remember where you were when it happened!

So Biden says he's not going anywhere. Obama and Clinton have now chimed in with X messages of support. So what will be the ground rules for the September debate? I say the mics stay on, they hop Biden up strong and try to goad Trump into going off the rails.

🎯 As much as last night was an indictment of the Democratic Party for misleading party members and the country about the mental acuity and health of the president, the media deserve far more derision and scorn. I and others were repeatedly criticized by the media for questioning the competency of the president. Among other false accusations, I was accused of spreading misleading videos which clearly showed Biden’s deterioration. Do you remember the heavily excerpted and edited @POTUS Biden @60Minutes interview where the interviewer covered for the president by saying he was ‘very tired?’ @60Minutes knew. The @nytimes knew. @CNN knew. @MSNBC knew. Left wing media have had total and complete access to the president, his staff, and his administration. They all knew, but they told you otherwise. They outright lied to you. When Robert Hur, the special counsel who deposed the president, said that the president was not fit to stand trial and therefore chose not to bring charges, the media described him as a tool of the Republican Party and character assassinated him. When the @WSJ recently published a several-thousand-word, carefully researched, front page piece on the president’s mental and physical health, it was described by left wing media as outright propaganda. Now consider who has been feeding you propaganda. A favored technique of some of the most evil leaders in history was to mislead the people by constantly repeating the Big Lie. The Big Lie is so audacious that people accept it as truth because it is repeated so often that how can it be that something so important and material could be an outright falsehood? In this case the Big Lie was our president’s fitness for office, let alone a second term. A media organization is not supposed to be a branch of the Democratic Party. The media have a profound obligation to tell the truth to the American people, particularly about something as critical for the country as the president’s mental and physical health. People very close to me, my closest family and friends, trusted the media on Biden until the @CNN commentators finally owned up to the truth about Biden last night. For months I have been accused by many friends and family of being misled by an @X-based ‘right wing echo chamber.’ The sad reality is that one of our most important institutions, the so-called ‘Fourth Estate,’ fourth only after the clergy, the nobility, and the commoners, has destroyed any remaining credibility it has. Consider how your perception of @POTUS Biden and @realDonaldTrump has been manipulated. The media can no longer save itself. A suggestion. Rely on empirical data as much as possible. Listen to what someone actually said, rather than a headline summary or article about what someone said. Get your news from people who have a track record of telling the truth, people who do so at significant personal cost like whistleblowers. I follow broad constituencies on @X on multiple issues. That has led me closer to the truth. Citizen journalism has been a much more accurate representation of reality. Thank you @elonmusk for saving this platform. It gives us a fighting chance to save our democracy.

yup. Pray for our nation. The next four to six months are going to be an extremely perilous time, because the regime is not just going to throw in the towel and accept a Trump victory. These people are in way too deep to simply hand over the keys to Trump in January. They have proven they will do anything—literally anything—to retain power. Pray that their efforts will be defeated, that sanity will prevail, and that God would lead us as a nation to repentance and restoration, because the only other path is destruction and desolation.

This is the SOTU cocktail. They clearly didn't want to go this route last night, but probably should have.
