What does our chief hand waver think? Perhaps using "could be" or "possibly" instead of "is" might have been a more accurately worded headline based on what the letter stated? Never mind that every single IC official and Politico knew at the time that the laptop was indeed authentic and had nothing to do with Russia. Buried deep in Politico's reliable report: “We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement,” the letter reads.
