🎯 Nothing underscores the total irrelevance of legacy media more than these two front pages, both willfully ignoring the biggest political scandal in American history: a sitting president, backed by corrupt intelligence officials, sabotaging the duly elected incoming president. We shouldn’t waste time moaning about their failure. We should celebrate it. There’s no point in propping them up or giving them life support by pretending they still matter. I get that people of a certain generation, myself included, still have that reflexive reaction: oh wow, it’s in the paper. But that’s just a ghost of an old world clinging to us, a relic of a time when these institutions had meaning. Old media is dead and that is a beautiful thing.

And who buys it every single time they cry wolf? Roundy. In another disturbing incident of disinformation, in a TikTok post with over 800,000 views, a woman says, "They're throwing the deportees out of the planes and into the ocean. [...] they're shackling people, flying out into open ocean and throwing them out. The flight patterns, there is people tracking them on this app, the flights going out with the deportees. Watching them go out to the open ocean and circle back. A family in Italy saw five shackled bodies wash up on the shore."
