  1. I fully appreciate the OP and the thought process. But... I remember thoughts of the stars aligning for a dream season: After 51-3 and right up to wide right. After the greatest comeback in NFL history. After the 4th consecutive AFC championship and we're back America, deal with it. Right before homerun throw forward. Right before 13 seconds. It's that history that had me taking in the recent Cincy and KC home playoff losses with numb indifference. You need to get to the playoffs to have a shot. This team has done that and I've thoroughly enjoyed the ride thus far, but I refuse to be about anything other than enjoying the journey and the next game. But if you're into pointing at the stars aligning for a team then I'd look at how KC's season has played out thus far before the Bills.
  2. This thread will always remain as a shining example of Finding's idiocy. A true PPP classic. Just beautiful. CBS, another reliable news outlet.... “I felt so ashamed that a news organization would place so many restrictions on an interview." Catherine Herridge reveals that a live interview with @elonmusk about the Twitter Files was quashed by CBS News because they didn't "know what he was going to say." "I was like, wait a second, isn't that what journalism is all about?" "I never went back to Elon Musk and said, I'm sorry, I know you're all about free speech, but they want to put these conditions on it. I just couldn't go back to him with that."
  3. Justice Thomas sprung a killer question on the ACLU lawyer: "What remedy are you seeking?" Strangio, flummoxed by such a seemingly simple question said an injunction. Justice Thomas then asked "practically, you would get different treatment based on sex?" and the trap was laid. Strangio said the plaintiff (a girl who identifies as a boy) would be allowed to get drugs for "a typical male puberty" despite having a "birth sex [of] female." That answer made clear that girls who identify as boys would get a right under the Constitution to testosterone, but boys who identify as boys would not, which is...sex discrimination! Genius.
  4. I liken the ignore function to unsubscribing from email lists. There are some people, companies etc. that I may have been interested in hearing from at one point, but no longer. They've become irrelevant. So you unsubscribe from their email list. It works somewhat but eventually a few always sneak through your spam filter. I can't remember if it was Billstime or Tibs, maybe both of them, that would argue that putting someone on an ignore list is violating their free speech. It's brilliant takes like that that land you on my ignore list in the first place. As if ignoring the BLM commie activist screech in the local town square is violating their 1st amendment rights.
  5. And that's precisely why the WH is considering granting them PREEMPTIVE PARDONS.
  6. The @PeteHegseth nomination has been endangered entirely by anonymous sources. We have zero idea about the credibility of these sources since every single mud-slinger has remained (& been allowed to remain) unnamed. [Btw these same media refused to report on the Doug Emhoff accuser bc she was “anonymous” in the Daily Mail.] Meanwhile dozens of on the record character references have been offered (along with point by point disputes of the allegs) by Medal of Honor recipients, decorated war heroes, his Fox colleagues and those who worked w/Pete at his vets charities. How can a nomination as important as this be thwarted by entirely anonymous accusations? Where is the fairness/due process? The media ran with the clearly bogus rape charge story w/o offering virtually any of the exonerating facts. Now they ask us to believe them about these other character smears. Why should we? The infidelity - that’s admitted. Drinking upon his return from combat tours - that too. Nothing else here has been confirmed, verified, or substantiated with any evidence. The only fair Q for these Senators is: are a man’s prior marital troubles and a few nights seen drunk at bars years ago after returning from combat enough to sink a nomination? These are the only fair character Qs.
  7. Finding "Biden is mentally fit" Qanon is aware of all truths..... As long as those "truths" exist under a green sky.
  8. You've chosen to ignore content by nedboy7. Options You've chosen to ignore content by The Frankish Reich. Options
  9. I agree 100% njbuff that everyone has the right to POST whatever they want as long as they adhere to the TOS. And the TOS policing is certainly much looser here than on the main board. However, you don't have the right to make other people READ what you post and that's what the ignore function is for. It makes for a far better cesspool experience. BTW there are quite a few left of center posters here who are not on my ignore list. This is because they are not useful idiots. The ignore list has very limited value regardless as most people override their own ignored posters and click on read anyway. Then there's also the lack of ignoring quoted posts which would be ideal. And then there's Finding Qanon who continues to pretend that I'm pretending to ignore it.
  10. This thread is inspired by a post in another thread and I thought it would be interesting to see where other people are at. I'm pretty sure that I'll be in the 1% since anyone who comes to PPP and puts their useful idiocy on display automatically goes on the ignore list fairly quickly, and I'm sure there are many people with nobody on their ignore list. Anyway, I will begin. Current number of users on BillsFanNC ignore list: 65. I will say that well over 50% of those are names that haven't been seen in years such as: THEHARDTRUTH, Q-baby and The Trump Virus to name a few. We just had EasternOH post some drivel and he of course was already on my ignore list from way back when, so it's good to keep this list current and not cull it periodically just in case any of these idiots decide to drop in once in awhile. All of them I'm certain are coping and seething in their own TDS fueled way these days....
  11. EasternOhio Fox bad! But wait... Anonymous Fox employee sources: Believe them! On the record named Fox sources who worked directly with Hegseth: Trash!
  12. Yup, but reliable media and anonymous sources. Good enough for Finding!
  13. I believe that this incident did indeed happen as generally described without quibbling about deliberate pushing. I also know that there are a-holes everywhere, and there may not be a higher concentration of sporting event a-holes anywhere than in the upper deck at Highmark during Bills games. Other stadium sections probably equal it, but none surpass it. I never took my 8 year old to a Bills game for this very reason and I certainly wouldn't have taken him to a road game wearing Bills colors. If I did take my young child to an NFL stadium wearing opposing colors I'd do what it takes to sit in either the family section or club seats. I went to a few Bills games back in the day when I was 8 or younger and this scene captures my experience accurately:
