The assassination of Charlie Kirk is bringing out some of the best in humanity and it’s also exposing some of the worst. The unification, love, support, and outcry on his behalf throughout the world is heartwarming. The number of people supporting Tyler Robinson’s appalling behavior has opened my eyes to a side of extremism with a moral superiority complex that has also shaken my belief in people in general. I hope they are held accountable for their disgusting rhetoric.

The operation itself is designed to make them blind to it once they're fully demoralized.

Those described here who will actually listen in full is maybe 1% , but anything helps. Wait until the haters of Charlie Kirk find out their anger is based entirely on quotes taken out of context and flat-out lies about what he said. Cognitive dissonance will glue most of the haters to their original positions, with word-salad explanations of how they have been proven wrong yet they are really right. But some will experience unbearable sadness and deep shame over their actions this week. That's coming.

Charlie never stopped trying to have respectful discussions and offering the olive branch. The problem is they were never listening and never had plans to. Ever.

Dumb of course. It's pretty clear in context of the larger convo that he was talking about monsters who murder innocents, but you still need to be crystal clear. If he had made the exact same statement and then followed with an explicit qualifier clearly stating he's speaking of repeat offenders who end up murdering then this still would have gone viral. The last part would have just been edited out ala the fine people hoax. Ten years ago I'd say that issuing the apology is absolutely the right thing to do. Now...maybe not. You can't give these demons an inch. Even when you actually say something stupid.
