  1. EJ in London and Nathan Peterman in LA are neck and neck for the worst half of football any bills qb ever played. I dither on making a choice.
  2. I thought he did a creditible job...VP that is. Clements was here two years 04-05 says Wikipedia, 13 years ago.
  3. Yes, he was OC here....maybe QB coach and he was fired. I don't know when...but surprised his name resurfaces here....he wan't good goods that last time he was here. Now, people do learn and improve at their jobs......but, I would not go that route. And, I am surprised that not many on this board remember this...might have been 25 years ago. And, we also know that Alex Van Pelt was here as both a player and a coach....but I don't feel that way about him....would take a serious look at him.
  4. Nice to have a qb who is varied in his skills to adapt to any coordinators specific scheme. But, how about hiring somebody who can take existing skills and put together a good offensive scheme. If you have lemons, make lemonaide so to speak. I worked in the corporate world for some years, and had to manage many different teams as I moved up the line. any success I had was because I had the folks working for me play to their strengths......round pegs in round holes....etc etc. Dennison didn't do that much this year with TT. If the Bills let TT go, then, they will have to sign a vet plus whoever they draft....unless, of course, they sign Cousins or other top shelf vet. Were I TT, I might want to get out of town here anyway.......get a shot with somebody who thinks well of me. Hence, I am predicting he will be let go after refusing to take a cut in pay next year. Denver or Arizona are calling I am guessing.
  5. Hope the Bills win, but, playing hard and well, and loosing....well....naw...don't want that. WANT another crack at the Pats!!!!
  6. I want the Bills to win on Sunday, but, if they do they have to go to NE the next weekend. Strange calculus here, but, I would rather take a chance on doing without Shady this Sunday so that when we get to beantown he will be 100%. The Bills are underdogs Sunday, but they can win. Others have to step up...maybe the D has to do some extraordinary things...whatever. I don't want to see a limping Shady out there!!!
  7. TT and Micah Hyde will do the deed!
  8. Cadet was actually excellent when he was backing up shady. Need to keep him next year....I saw enough to want him back. don't know if he could stand up to the #1 back pounding...Shady has really in remarkable fashion until this ankle injury.
  9. I recall during the great run of the 90's when the Bills made 4 SB appearances, that one of those appearances was as a Wild Card. They didn't win the big one....and I don't remember which one it was....but, they took that wild card all the way to the SB. Not sure this team is made of that stuff....but, I would be thrilled (again) if they got another crack at NE and the Brady/Gronk dark side stars.
  10. Simple answer....on to New England for a third shot at them.
  11. Banyard the only make sense choice as he knows the playbook.
  12. Going to cost him some long green.......
  13. Backup running back by the waver wire isn't going to cut it in the playoffs. Shame on McBean........Tolbert is a fiasco and Murphy is two steps slow.
  14. TT 9-6 as a starter......that is playoff caliber......and, if McD doesn't have a brain cramp...might have been 10-6 I thnik this is right
  15. Pete has made a lot of money, and the climate in SoCal is great......if his ego allows it he will go.......
  16. I think the Bills can win the last game in Miami.......Tyrod, then, will hit free agency if released, with a 9-6 record as the starter this year........and he will get another gig at 10 mil a year or so....in the mean time......what will the bills do....who knows...another retread. I would actually feel better if they got rid of Dennison and put in an OC who knew how to use TT's skills better. (and kept TT)
  17. If Cadet can heal....sign him!
  18. This is a cart before the horse discussion. We will take whoevver if the Bills luck in. Beating the phins won't be easy.....unless the phins lay down....which I don't really expect. But,, if they do...low probability of any of the bills playoffs scenrios playing out. The big one...imho...happened when our HC decided to throw the pick 5 QB into a starting role before he was ready. THAT call may well cost the Bills a playoff berth.
  19. McD is some sort of a cross between Dick Jauron and greg Williams.....we know how both of them did.......
  20. the franchise is not cursed...it has been (and is) poorly managed for many many years. McD looks to much like Dick Jauron for my liking....another D minded coach without a clue how to put points on the board. Point taken
  21. other than wrex.......McD is the worst coach since Jauron. Defensive focus in the extreme and doesn't know anything about game management.....lets see, did we go for it from the 5....and kick from the 40.....yep..those were the calls.
  22. On the channel 4 pregame for the Bills, the announcers were agog that a poll they conducted showed 51% of voters wanted TT back for another season as starter. Just saying....the opinion is clearly not universally agreed about TT. He made some mistakes...made some good throws. Still not doing the TT rollout...which would maximize his skill set. Dennison is a "system" guy, TT as a roll out QB isn't part of the system....another words...Dennison can't get to far off his memorized script.
  23. The Rams let him go for a reason......actually the same reason we moved Sammy.....availability. Am the only one who remembers all those game Watkins missed?
  24. I, myself, were I the QB....would not tend to look to a one legged wr, no matter his ability to speak the party line. Benjamin can't separate from the bench...and its not moving.
  25. I don't want to see a Rookie starting....or a second year Petermann either......so, TT or another long in the tooth vet.....while the young guys learn. Ahhh...marginally better. 5 ints in one half is all time bad....TT was never that in his worst day......get a grip man.
