Bills spent the second most in the nfl on defense
bigK14094 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can't in 24. Gotta pay useless Von Mille $25 to rehab another year. -
The money the Bills will pay Von Miller could have retained two quality starters. Miller will do nothing again this year. Bad signing in retrospect.
-
The bills could go without a backup qb, and revert to a single wing offense if Josh is hurt.

What are your feelings on James Cook RB1

HE will always need a thumper short yardage back on the short yardage situations. Of course, there is 17 for that, but I don't like that choice. -

What about turnover ranking though? -
He earned his salary and was a surprising receiving threat. The Brady connection makes this plausible. Can't tell though, CEH may not want to be #2 behind Cook.

OK, but, he was right first about EJ Manuel, and Whaley wasn't happy about it. Hence, Kyle Orton's one season.

JOsh throws balls to spots upon occasion hoping his receiver will get there. I have seen both Davis and Shikir "get there", so that sometime works. But, Josh likes the hero ball throw, and sometimes the receivers get a glove and nothing else on the ball...hence called a drop. so, the comment above about some being on Josh is correct. But, he does that for the right reason, and sometimes it works out ok. On the other hand, Cooks drops this year were just lack of concentration and poor hands. I won't say bad hands, he catches some, but dropped the td pass against the Chiefs. Can't do that against them and be a winner.

Brazil has unique problems with staging a game. Medical facilities and supplies for one. My company built a plant down there, and we had special provisions made for medical treatments. Standards are not the same. But, if luck was good, no hospital needed for a game. But, great food and drink and a great country imho. I loved the people down there.

Options for the position coaches that are vacant

Good technique. But, easier said than done. -
I don't see a #1 seed. To many cap problems. Lots of vets will leave for the money in free agency and I don't blame them. I think the Bills will struggle with a lot of rookies and cheap free agents playing and we will finally see the Von Miller gambit for the big mistake it was. But, you gotta break a few eggs to make and omelet they say. Go Bills

Leslie Frazier interviewing for Dolphins DC

Chubb will be mostly recorering next year. ACL if I recall correctly. -
Its called the "availability pool"
-
bates will start at center, and Morse is gone. Problem solved.

This is a serious problem. It reminds me of Rex Ryan who wanted his D his way. I guess the HC has that choice, and the results of McD's D is much better than Rex's. Still, it takes bandwidth away from the HC hat part of McD's job for him to be the DC. I think it is a real problem as no human as unlimited capacity.

Greg Cosell - “I don’t think they have a number 1 WR”

I know the reported injuries had Diggs as OK, and nobody claimed he was hurt even verbally. But, I watched closely, and there was definitely something wrong with him the second half of the season. Its just that it was never mentioned. I could see he was hurting. Not sure, but, I thought neck or shoulder.....upper body problem of some sort. Just my opinion after watching the NFL since the 60's. (yes, I saw Kemp and Dan Darough play) -
Who are your top 10 QBs in the league
bigK14094 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hurts is middle of the pack at best. Not likely top 10 based on what I have seen. -
Beneford can play but is hurt a lot. What are the stats on the first two seasons? No complete seasons. Maybe not one season of games total. Until we see some duribility, not sure he is in the long term plan.

O’Cyrus Torrence makes NFL All Rookie Team

don't worry about Kincard. This clickbate article will not harm his play at all. -
Or, practices at least some on the frozen field where the team will play on it.

Johnson has a concussion. that recovery is unpredictable. Elam may see major time.. Two major injuries in three years. Can't keep white for that reason now, next year will be his rehab year. He gets cut, and not just because of the money. Perhaps someone else will take a chance, but he could end up back with a min contract. Never know.

The pump fake is legitimate. I saw Jerry Juedy of the Bronco's, a wr, do it after a catch in the flat in a game this season. (It froze the cb btw) Pump fake transcends football, used in basketball all the time. And, the QB's pump fake in the pocket all the time too. And, sometimes, its not a fake, just a pulled back throw attempt cut short. Its not a slide until the butt hits the ground imho.
