  1. Depends if Allen's arm is alive and well. He hasn't thrown in a couple of weeks. Maybe taking a little time getting back in playing condition is the right thing.
  2. Unprofessional behavior gets the same in return. so be it, the money talks. I am ok with that....as I understand the system. I also dropped my season tickets because of the management mess in the Bills organization which continues under new owners. In this case, my money walks........
  3. Peterman has another problem. He is a national laughingstock. Even the Wall Street journal, of all media outlets, had an article on how bad he is as a QB. He can't last in the league with that kind of press.https://www.wsj.com/articles/playing-quarterback-looks-easier-than-ever-nathan-peterman-still-makes-it-look-hard-1541161499
  4. JUst watched an ESPN show, the one with the old man, his son and another sports caster out of Miami. They were showing crazy plays from last weekend of football. They showed a play from East Carolina'Applichian State I think, where the QB threw the ball, hit the receiver in the helmet...ball went up in the air and was pick 6ed. Question was ask what would happen to the QB.....the answer was he would be drafted by the Bills. We are a national laughing-stock.
  5. Even the Wall Street Journal is down on Peterman. https://www.wsj.com/articles/playing-quarterback-looks-easier-than-ever-nathan-peterman-still-makes-it-look-hard-1541161499?mod=hp_major_pos27
  6. All the rest of EJ's bad throws were 10 yards off target, so far off that the DB's didn't have a chance either. Peterman is more accurate by far....weak arm, but more accurate. Neither measures up however.
  7. A couple of those picks today were loony tunes, and on the receivers. The receiver corp is worse than the QB's...and both are bottom 5 in the league.
  8. I liked Prior out of college.....had a smile on my face when I recalled he was a QB at Ohio State. Since we just signed him.....he could play as a QB instead of receiver. This is at least as logical as anything the front office has done about the QB situation. Retreads, retreads, retreads....and one banged up prospect.
  9. I have thought of this.....NFL career record (he can't last much longer) for highest percentage int's. He is already over 10% I think..... Seems like the front office could not have managed this any worse if they tried. We sure could use McCarron now. And, where is Joe Webb when you need him. I have heard Jeff Tuel is also available.
  10. Daboll's problems are not based on scheme....they are lack of talent based. Hue is a nice guy and not what is needed. Besides, I don't see him as a McD type....runs way to loose a ship.
  11. I liked Witten's candid comment on the broadcast last night on the Benjamin trade. Whitten called it a "miss"....which is an understatement. A 3rd round pick and paying Benjamin $15 mil this year.....that is loony tunes based on the results. Lets hope McBean recognizes it, and are not loyal to their guy.....let him walk at the end of the year.
  12. Hold on, McD may yet get it right. A little to loyal to his process guys. (see Peterman ) But, got the right D coordinator, and I am not yet down on Daboll. Another year yet......and likely two more imho.
  13. Current problems on the O are not of Dabolls making. I am betting Daboll returns next year.
  14. Is Cadet still unsigned? HE was in camp and knows the play book. That is if Shady is traded for fair value......2 or maybe a 3. If they offer a 4 forgettaboutit.
  15. In his time here, Hacket was not very good....he had to deal with the EJ fiasco.......but, his O was pretty non discript. I see Dabolls O was more NFL like today, and, given even a few more horses, would have a good NFL O. Of course, Daboll looks good next to Dennisen who was not a NFL caliber Coordinator imho.
  16. With the erratic QB's that Bean is providing on the roster, I think Daboll has done fine. I mean....3 QB's in camp...trade one at last minute, leaving two rookies essentially. then in Oct adding a vet. Vet should have been added in camp. We would be better off with McCarron to play this sunday. and D- for Bean.....a B for Daboll.
  17. I trust Joe B's stats....he reported Sunday night that Peterman has thrown 79 passes as a bills QB and 9 of them have been intercepted. Yikes! Get that guy outta here!!!
  18. Yes, another QB required. Jury still out on Allen, but, jury is not out on Peterman. Might sign an experienced backup like EJ ....(I jest)
  19. I agree that Peterman has no place on an NFL roster. When the Bills let him go, his pro career will be done.
  20. I must be really old, I remember Jack Kemp, Elbert Dubinion, Charlie Fergerson, Wray Carlton, etc etc. and that was 60's. Yes, I attend a few at the old rockpile. I saw booker edgerson make an INT in the snow against the Bengals to win....but, really didn't see the play well, even though it was right in front of me.....I saw it at home on TV later, though, as the snow filtering software on the TV camera made it visible....there was so much win blown snow. Booker was still around sometime in the last decade in some capacity with the Bills I think.
  21. Won't happen. Whaley was all in on EJ Manuel.....both gone now. Bean and McD are all in on Allen...if Allen doesn't make it, Bean and McD will be gone. So, Allen will get all the days Bean and McD have to give him....maybe 3 more years. Then, if things are still bad....adious Amigos
  22. Cheap add....3/4 of a mil is nothing by NFL standards.
  23. Eric Wood was part of the stablizing factors helping Richie stay calm in Buffalo. that was over this year also......
