The D will handle that...not to worry. The O is reinventing itself with new guys (mostly) and your concern is correct here. And, special teams....well, we will see if the new coach can really do the job....the jury is out on him.

Smith is giving good advice...he doesn't know how it will play out, but, his members should be prepared. Competent communication from a union head imho. My views personally run on the management side of this argument, as the product has been diluted somewhat by the CBA....as teams are not as ready as they used to be with the practice restrictions. If there is a stike, I will not attend games that year, or the year after. Same thing I did after the strike in the Kelly era. (I bought a St Bernard with the ticket money I saved) And, the first few games "back" after the strike were a horror...with the teams clearly not ready to play....but, the show must go on so the players and TV can be paid/ management also. The fan is cheated however, not only on lost games, but on shoddy product that comes after the strike. Now, if they take a month to get ready after settling, maybe decent play could be expected. Anyhow, whatever happens, my plans are in place.

Milano's coverage skills are unlikely to be matched. Milano is a converted safety, and knows how to cover. I look for him to get a few more picks next year, as he was on that track last year before the injury. He is not the superstud that his running mate is(Edmunds)......but, he will do adequately on the physical tools side.

At this point,, I would not bet against Allen and Daboll.

With Kroft out, they are going to be glad to have him.

The form sheet says he will, once again, screw it up.

I have a favorite Lee Smith memory from his first tour here. (I think this was Lee) Lee is inactive (maybe hurt, I don't recall) He is in shorts on the sideline during the game, and a Bills offensive guy breaks one down the Bills sideline.....Lee is running with him.....along the sideline. He runs into an official standing out of bounds, and the Bills get flagged for "official interference"...something I had never heard of before or after. Anyhow, I think that was LEE!!! Not even active and he drew a bench penality for the Bills

Yes, when healthy, he is a great CB in this D. He wanted to much money, so went to cleveland....but, that didn't work out. If he returns to prior form, he is a BIG signing!!!

I agree with all the comments he should have stayed in school. I could see him leaving UB, however, using the NCAA transfer portal. UB lost a lot of his support team around him, and there was no assurance things would go well at UB this year. But, if a major wanted a 1 year QB, he was it, and he certainly should have done it.

ehhhh...time will tell on this ranking. Allen will be better this year for sure, assuming all the new troops can absorb Daboll's offense and execute. Lets hope Allen can get his completion percentage up....maybe a few less heroic passes downfield and a few more dump off/swing passes to mitigate the lower percentage long throws.

53 guys who mostly didn't know each other until now, doesn't make a team. Especially in complex offensive situation. Allen will have familiar pieces around him NOT!!! He will have lets see....Shady....a couple of receivers...one TE and Demarco who know the O. the rest will be learning and will be rookies to some degree, even though they are experienced pro's in many cases. I am not looking for a big improvement this year,, that comes next year imho. 8-8 max.......

To many new folks, to many moving parts, to many unproven guys. 8-8 would be a surprise to me....7-9 or 6-10 are probabile. I would ,however, think 6-10 would be a disappointment. If the D works out (the Bills best chance btw), they could win 8 though. Stability in the D now, with Fraser and company in the 3d year. Folks know what they are doing in the scheme. So many personnel changes in the O though, they will be starting from zero. And, our QB is full of promise but is still not yet proven as a pro.....I suspect he will be better this year, however, and show he belongs.

Give him one more year to mature...keep him around. Let him walk if he doesn't earn the 10 mil in his option year. He is young, and apparently has finally learned how to be a pro. Maybe he will be a late bloomer. terrible Whaley/Ryan pick though....he was not ready.....

Do the analysis, they do need to correct the data for the temperature of the air.......more injuries in cold weather. Most climates are warmer, on average, than Buffalo. How do the injury rates vary with temperature.?

Your dish needs reaiming then.......heavy cloud cover should not impact picture. I just got reaimed, and that was the result.

Have been w Directv for 18 years....and have it in both my northern home and my condo in Florida. The ATT issues have not hit me yet....but I am wary because of prior experiences w ATT. I will have to change if rates are raised.....and will make a big jump to either Dish or Hulu. I will not take any crap from ATT! 5G is a long way away....not in the conversaton yet. Not sure it ever gets to my somewhat rural localtion either. I don't have a contract...so, I can move at will.

The Bills had a guy who made that switch maybe 20-25 years ago. He lasted 8-9 years in the league on the D line. Don't recall his name unfortujately.

Not likely imho. He is maturing, but, is just coming on to a level you might characterize as journeyman status. Never going to be all league or all pro. So, a top 10 salary doesn't make sense to me.......try to resign him, just don't pay top 10 DE compensation. If somebody else overpays, so be it.
