I pray for this Gruden, anybody who can survive 6(?) seasons w that owner has a lot of moxie.....but, everything wears out sooner or later...he deserves a year or two off...to reestablish the what the world is like w/0 Dan Snyder lurking everywhere.

As I was reading the Buff News this week, I was surprised to note the Bills were 4th in offense in the AFC. It seems things could be worse, they certainly have been in the past. Lets see how far this face lift goes, but, so far, there is progress. Daboll looks competant to me, better than many we have had here.

Gruden has been in Washing DC for 6 or 7 years........not sure you are talking about the right Gruden.

Reminds me of when Ronnie White was special teams coordinator for Wade Phillips back in the day. Ralph wanted him fired, Wade refused, and so Ralph fired Wade. We got another rookie ST coach....it didn't turn out well last time.......And, yes, he was outcoached by the Pats on the blocked punt....when the gunner is uncovered, he has to get the man who was supposed to cover him. Maybe our ST coach wasn't a gunner......and didn't know that to teach our gunners.

Josh Allen always needed time and experience to be the NFL QB we all want....he was not a finished product out of college....he has progressed this year, still making mistakes but progressing to being an NFL QB. I never thought this season was ever going to be more than an OJT season for him. (On the Job Training) Next year, he will be more polished. He has skills, good attitude, and will mature more when he learns not to try to do to much. He is still running on adrenilin at points, not his brain. That will change. I just hope the hit in the head doesn't ruin him ala Trent Edwards, who was never the same after that guy in Arizona concussed him.

Zay is still their draftee/guy. But, that will end next year, Zay will be gone.......his performance is bottom of the league imho. Next up please.

The Bills have, to some degree, acted as a farm team to the rest of the league. I wonder how many of the new crop of players that Bean will keep, or let them walk like past administrations. Of course, I remember signing Mr Big Puff (Dareus) to megabucks, and hamstringing the team for years.

Barkley looked great in the preseason, and was in training camp, so he is fully indoctrinated in the offense. He is top half, anyhow, imho.

New England is one solid hit to Brady's ribs away from being an average team. Getter done legally!

The national media will continue to say that Josh Allen will disappoint us some day. (Steven Smith for one) The TV planners will be beside themselves that they scheduled the Brownies so much and the Bills got no prime time dates. (they will scramble the times though late in the season) The NYC media will be talking about the 1-3 giants and Daniel whatever his name is......even though Josh Allen would be 4-0. The Bills are not a big enough market to move the needle on TV ratings/advertising dollars.

Only one deep shot against Cinci....and Foster was the target. Ball was a little underthrown.....and defended as a result. A longer throw might have been a TD. So, that aspect of the Bills game has not been seen much this year.....I am thinking on purpose btw.

His run during the drive to the final touchdown showed me incredible desire and ability when the game is on the line. Yes, he has heart and skill. Maybe some things to learn, but, he is looking like the real deal to me.

There are no drinking fountains.....the Erie Country Board of Health gave the Bills/stadium a waver on providing the last time the stadium was redone. Hydration stations? The last time I was there there were little yellow coolers with a miniscule dixie cup.......at guest services locations only. I would say be prepared to pay the $5 for a bottle of water......the exact intent of the removal of the water fountains imho. And, no containers...they are thinking you are bringing them in to fill and throw at whatever.

Back in the day, I ran a big technical shop....and, we had one guy who would not fly. He was limited in what he could do for us....and, we added a question to our employment applications because of our experience with him Do you have any objection to flying on business? A yes answer would throw out the application after that, as that applicant did not meet the requirements of the job. (We sent the one guy to Arizona one time from Buffalo, he took the Bus and it took him almost a week to get there) So, NFL players must fly, or, imho never get a job in the NFL.

Give the man time....I like his chances, and he looks better this year than last. Not to pick on one play, but he has to make that catch for the int against the Giants.......he will next time....as he will practice 500 of those in the next few weeks I am guessing.

Yes, a few bucks on the Bills longshot odds might be worth it if you believe a 40 something QB is likely to get hurt. Of course, the zebra's are in full protect mode for him. Maybe not for second year QB's, but for Brady, oh yes.
