  1. Incentive laden contract is the ticket here. He wanted to stay in Buffalo to "prove it" OK, he did that for sure. Now the Bills have to pay up or loose him. Congrats to him for making good on his claims he is a player to fit this D.
  2. Yes, but the only stat I care about is the W.......there will be some difficult moments in the next 6 weeks, but, I am thinking the playoffs are feasible and the Bills are favorite to make it to the wild card game. (Maybe even at home!)
  3. Its gonna be a lb to replace LA.....McD is calling this shot imho. D focused. wr in rnd 2....
  4. Ahhhh rudolph did get something....he got hit in the head with his own helmet on a haymaker arc. I would say he was the injured party.
  5. Pouncy 2 games because he didn't get a good kick in on Garrett. 1 game only if he really gottem.........
  6. I saw him in Buffalo his last season w the 49's. He was terrible.....setting aside that the fans booed him....he is not much of a football player. I saw it, don't need to read any articles. Bills not there? they got it right!
  7. Wallace did get abused a few time....no physical enough. He can run, but, hit and tackle? Not so much.
  8. I still think Allen will make it.......when I think of how bad JP Losman was, and how bad EJ Manuel was......Allen is better than either by a lot at this point. So, cool your jets, Allen is here for at least two more years beyond this....and, by then, we will know. I shudder to think how long it took Kurt Warmer (two super bowl rings) to mature...including time in the infamous arena league. What I am saying is Allen has all the tools.....JP didn't have the head, EJ didn't have the arm and had a poor presence on the field.....Josh seems to have avoided those problems. Yes, he is still working on his mechanics and learning the pro game....but, I think, he will progress. He didn't play in the SEC or the Big Ten....he played at Wyoming...and, has a little further to come than SEC/ACC QB's imho.
  9. Lose Lose game for the Bills....if bills win it will be cause the Browns are so bad. If the Bills loose, it will be cause the Bills are pretenders. Can't please everybody, so you got to please yourself with a WIN! Go Bills!
  10. Good player upon occasion when he is available. More trouble ahead? The form sheet says yes.
  11. I think 3 for 3 is feasible . Just wondering if the Bills can be that consistent. Based on the first half of the season, I think there is a chance......2 out of three wouldn't clinch a playoff spot....three for three would imho.
  12. I agree Edmunds is more an OLB than a middle LB. He just isn't that run plugger you want in the middle. (thinking Chris Spielman here)
  13. "Motor" reminds me of Mike Garrett, the 60's great who played for the Chiefs (outta USC) About the same size, and Garrett was all Pro several years running. Daboll will be back next year.....
  14. Trent was correct, the skins Medical staff was incompetent........
  15. YEs, some validity to this suggestion. Our guy in the middle is really an outside backer playing the middle. Edmunds is a rangy guy, but, not a run plugger. He excells side line to side line.....but, up the gut straight at him he gets blown away. (the Philly back did that to him in Q1 Sunday) Edmunds is a sort of miss as a middle backer....but would be a great outside guy......yes, he is young, but haven't seen Kuechly like play yet.
  16. Josh Allen has a better arm than MT. Hopefully he educates himself and moves from a C+/B- player to the next level. I am bettting he will btw.
  17. Need to get that call QB run/sweep in the back of the playbook. We need rb's to run that play, not the slinger.
  18. That situation is why we have rb's QB should never be running that play. If you wanted to go wide, DS is your man, not Gore. Missing Shady.....
  19. Don't know Bills in Lexington, but, the answer to the prematurely closed thread on Venice Italy might be to find a US military base or hotel....and watch on AFN (armed forces network) I used to do that when I traveled Europe in the 90's and even watched one of the Bills Super Bowl games with the military folks at one of the on base clubs. Other times I stayed at the American Arms Hotel. (I was a reservist at the time so that worked) You can walk in and always have to pay in greenbacks. (No local currency taken) Enjoy Lexington, I stop there to visit Keenland upon occasion, a horse race venue with a decided southern flavor. Good place to spend an extra day if driving from Buffalo to Florida (or back) if going via I-75
  20. I can understand the NFL not wanting this to be a habit. Seems to me a warming on the first throw would have been enough. But, this is the NFL, and crazy stuff happens....non linear thinking in that front office.
  21. Bento box...great reference, but not many will understand. I myself love a good bento box for lunch, not dinner.
  22. Yes, there is that. But, when healthy, he can play.
  23. I remember all of this. My outstanding memory of that decade was a game I attended....vs Cincinatti.....in a blinding snow storm. Although I was there, I could barely see the players. Booker Edgerson won the game with an int right in front of me..(I think) I really didn't see it though until I got home and watch it on the TV news....the electronic filters removed the "snow" and the game was clear......good win that day. Booker has been back with the Bills in some advisory roles through the decades....I think he might still be in the area.
  24. He is developing....and, I think, at least on schedule. He isn't a complete QB yet folks, and it may take a year or two more.....but, he is progressing. It just won't all get done this year. Yes, I know, you want a Super Bowl every year. Josh may not be ready to deliver that baby yet. Has a second year QB ever won a SB? I don't know.......
