  1. Wasn't it Marv Levy who told the team that when they scored a touchdown (or a sack)...."Try and look like you have been there before" I think that is good guidance. All those gestures are not going to get you paid more. Your play gets you paid, not your antics.
  2. The relative easy schedule the first half of the season has been for the team and Josh like a long runway is for a plane....the Bills have learned along the way...and the Bills are now ready to really FLY!!!
  3. Yes, your comment reminds me of the Bills "no quit" ethic of the Super Bowl Years in the 90's. Kelly, Bruce and company NEVER gave up.....that is how its done if you are a winner!
  4. Yes, I noticed that look on the sideline. Getting his head right imho. Good for him, THAT is how its done folks!!
  5. I would not call the Bills chances against the Ravens a long shot. The Ravens will be favored, but I will take the points and the Bills at home every time in this matchup. Its close to a tossup imho.....
  6. To much Cowboys smaltz on the broadcast for me. Emmitt who? Call the game and stop interviewing a guy who retired 15 years ago. I don't care if you are goomba's.....
  7. Not expecting much respect despite a great win today. the media play to the large markets....not enough viewers in Buffalo. This was Gilmores gripe about being in Buffalo, no body knew who he was. Now a Pat, he gets all sort of national press. Oh well....
  8. If Foster could stay healthy, he is a legit deep threat. big IF though, and imho he is done for this season. They kept him on the roster in hopes he would heal, he has not.
  9. An icy field, a big wind....and the Ravens will be slowed down some. Buffalo can't get into a shootout with the Ravens, but in a close game they have a chance.
  10. gilmore would not make it on the McDermott "bus" He quit on the Bills and refused to tackle and stop the run. My view, run the ball gilmore's side...anybody who watched him knows he is afraid to hit. Yes, a great cover guy, we saw that during his time in Buffalo. But, we also saw his lack of desire to hit.
  11. Milano is coming up to get paid. He will get a good contract....
  12. Brady showing a little age.....not sure betting against him is smart yet, however.
  13. Milano has to be paid this coming off season.
  14. Folks on this board are starting to sound like Rex Ryan.....makes me nervous.
  15. They make a point about how long he can be the punishing runner he is today......until age 30...I doubt it.but, he will improve as a passer in that time...so I think he has at least a decade in him.
  16. To bad we don't have sound....you could have posted "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" by Gordon Lightfoot....one of my favs. (try U tube)
  17. There is a cut off date to flex right? We will know somewhat in advance, then. I favor day games....as 4pm in the East runs into dusk.....varying lighting conditions throughout the game.
  18. I watched Wentz against NE as well. He was missing the throws he m ade against the Bills. Hence the different results. Allen needs to run some to keep the D off balance, and designed runs can be a few of them. I liked the TD run against Miami......the circumstance where he is most effective is near the goal line....as the run or throw option keeps the D off balance. I look to him throwing more and faking the run in the future.
  19. Ahhhh, the Eagles did handle the Bills in Buffalo....there is that.....
  20. As I watched KC last night, I was wishing the Bills had kept Shady and let Gore ride off into the sunset.
  21. Wouldn't it b e nice if the Bills could find one guy to do both jobs......they call that an H back I think.
  22. Sharing the work at tackle was a good idea for a rookie. But, its 10 games in now, and he isn't so much a rookie anymore. Still, the question is fair and the result is TBD.
  23. Pro bowl is questionable....Buffalo's small market status makes him an unknown nationally. The Press won't hype him....there will be a Bill or two make it though....likely from the D....likely White imho. The O? Other than Brown....no obvious candidates. If the Bills beat the 'boys or Ravens ,and Brown has a big day or two...then recognition is more plausible. (after all they will say "who have they beat")
  24. 32 teams....so, on average, should be every 16 years. NOT BILLS TURN AGAIN BY A LONG SHOT!!!
