gilmore would not make it on the McDermott "bus" He quit on the Bills and refused to tackle and stop the run. My view, run the ball gilmore's side...anybody who watched him knows he is afraid to hit. Yes, a great cover guy, we saw that during his time in Buffalo. But, we also saw his lack of desire to hit.

I watched Wentz against NE as well. He was missing the throws he m ade against the Bills. Hence the different results. Allen needs to run some to keep the D off balance, and designed runs can be a few of them. I liked the TD run against Miami......the circumstance where he is most effective is near the goal line....as the run or throw option keeps the D off balance. I look to him throwing more and faking the run in the future.

Ahhhh, the Eagles did handle the Bills in Buffalo....there is that.....

Sharing the work at tackle was a good idea for a rookie. But, its 10 games in now, and he isn't so much a rookie anymore. Still, the question is fair and the result is TBD.

Pro bowl is questionable....Buffalo's small market status makes him an unknown nationally. The Press won't hype him....there will be a Bill or two make it though....likely from the D....likely White imho. The O? Other than Brown....no obvious candidates. If the Bills beat the 'boys or Ravens ,and Brown has a big day or two...then recognition is more plausible. (after all they will say "who have they beat")

Incentive laden contract is the ticket here. He wanted to stay in Buffalo to "prove it" OK, he did that for sure. Now the Bills have to pay up or loose him. Congrats to him for making good on his claims he is a player to fit this D.

Yes, but the only stat I care about is the W.......there will be some difficult moments in the next 6 weeks, but, I am thinking the playoffs are feasible and the Bills are favorite to make it to the wild card game. (Maybe even at home!)

I saw him in Buffalo his last season w the 49's. He was terrible.....setting aside that the fans booed him....he is not much of a football player. I saw it, don't need to read any articles. Bills not there? they got it right!

Wallace did get abused a few time....no physical enough. He can run, but, hit and tackle? Not so much.

I still think Allen will make it.......when I think of how bad JP Losman was, and how bad EJ Manuel was......Allen is better than either by a lot at this point. So, cool your jets, Allen is here for at least two more years beyond this....and, by then, we will know. I shudder to think how long it took Kurt Warmer (two super bowl rings) to mature...including time in the infamous arena league. What I am saying is Allen has all the tools.....JP didn't have the head, EJ didn't have the arm and had a poor presence on the field.....Josh seems to have avoided those problems. Yes, he is still working on his mechanics and learning the pro game....but, I think, he will progress. He didn't play in the SEC or the Big Ten....he played at Wyoming...and, has a little further to come than SEC/ACC QB's imho.
