  1. I was there...but was walking out in the parking lot when I heard the big roar. Yes, I did finally watch this video and saw what I missed.
  2. Lacey knows the system. He was a very late cut in 2018....after two years with McD. He has to be better than Klein........unless he is not in shape for football. He was active one week, but backc on the practice squad. Bring up Lee and Lacey...lets see if they can play. Nothing to loose imho.
  3. TE is their guy, I am not sure they will see straight on this issue. His 5th year option will be picked up, even though undeserved. Still, they dumped Watkins, so who knows. He is a coverage LB, and could play in Milano;s slot imho. (former mlb) Milano should have been held out prior weeks imho, and allowed to heal. It took Felliciano 11 weeks to heal. We need Milano healthy for the playoffs, and I think he will be out another month at least. Maybe come back after the bye....
  4. Allen is the reason we are leading the NFL in 3d down conversions. His runs to the chains are what is kicking up the Bills percentage on that. Of course, his arm is the big reason, and his, now, apparently, good judgement. AND, he has shown he is coachable.........a BIG plus. Playing at a high level when hurt as well. Guttsy guy imho
  5. Expressing a minority opinion here, I would like to see Milano sit out with the pec injury until he is ready to go full tilt, like they did with Feliciano. Maybe the new guy can cover for a few weeks.
  6. Arizona is beatable, despite their record. As for Seattle, Metcalf is better than the second coming of Megatron (Calvin Johnson), as he is faster by a lot and just as big. No answer on the D for that imho. Frisco and Pittsburg will be tough....but, I think Pittsburg can be beat. And, the NFL is a marathon, who knows what knee capping injuries will befall us or the opposition. Anybody who looses a QB will be up for the taking. On the whole, I think 4-4 is a good bet.........5-3 is pretty optimistic imho. Go Bills
  7. Smith is a better run blocker than Kroft or the rookie. He will play and get some snaps imho. Got to prepare for the substantial wind in the bowl.....Josh will throw some anyhow imho. Farmboys know Kentucky windage and Tennessee elevation......(an old Army term for shooters, btw)
  8. He never laid it on the line his last year in Buffalo. Ran away from tackling running backs.....ala Deion Sanders. I always thought a good stragedy against Gilmore would be to run to his side of the field as he would not challenge, but instead protect himself. I was surprised that the Bills, who knew, didn't do that.
  9. Mongo's return might , but he will only play half the snaps imho. Share time we one of the healthy guards..........
  10. I wonder if Tre spends enough time out of NY to not be a NYS resident. That would mean big bucks to him.......home back down south? Probabily not, w camps etc. But, the season and training camp are well short of the 6 months required to be a resident. I suspect that NYS has special rules on income tax for the professional athletes, but don't know that for sure. Never wondered about that before until this housing discussion.....I too think the signed contract is binding, unless there is a 48 hour escape clause hidden somewhere.
  11. Could Hyde have hit him low and flipped him? Would that have been legal?
  12. A thinking coaching staff should have disaster players for this kind of position outbreak. Having Duke Williams know the TE routes seems like that kind of thinking. Not sure he could block much, but, until you try who knows. He could do the receiver role, however. I might have a tackle learn the position as well btw.
  13. Sky Harbor is the name btw. Duke activated for this game.....
  14. Edmunds is not a run plugger ala chris Spielman. (yeh, I am old enough to remember his days with the Bills)
  15. I agree, and good partnerships are hard to beat. Either one, though, likely has the right to insist. Its just that they mostly don't and work out the best decision for the team. Neither one is in contract jepordy, so good decisions are easier by far. 2+2= more than 4 in this circumstance imho.
  16. The HC didn't put the ball on the carpet twice in the first half. That was all world Zeke.......I thought the game plan was wrong. Why change the character of the team....they were a passing team......should have continues. And, Dalton didn't put up 3 TD's for the Cards either in the first half.
  17. Good point on Jamarcus vs JOsh. Josh has a great work ethic and it is now paying off for him (and the Bills) in the third year of his career. Jamarcus had zero work ethic. If Josh keeps this progression up, he will be great for a decade or more. Its one thing to know how to do it, its another to be consistent game after game for a whole season. That is now his challenge.
  18. He lacked the head and arm talent. He was missing long throws by 10 yards out of bounds....I know, I had seasons in those days, and many of the misses were right in front of me. And, I will never forget the game in London.......
  19. Yeldon is an excellant receiving back, just noy used.
  20. Yes, Feeley commented on that during the broadcast.
  21. Not a classic "straight arm" in that he threw him.....another term might be better, like he "shed him"....
