  1. Allen is better but Stafford is a great arm also. He can't match Josh overall...but it ain't 3x.....
  2. Stafford only has one year left on his contract. The Rams will be in QB hell soon enough and Miller saw that Allen is signed for 6(?) more here in Buffalo.
  3. Schoen has to deal with the NY media, an impossible task.
  4. Both Phillips and Lawson had great years for the Bills and got paid as free agents after those years. But, they both flamed out in other settings. Not sure why, but there it is. Now, can they achieve what they did in 2019, who knows. Phillips has been injured a lot, and, if not healthy, won't be of much help. Lawson is a journeyman at best, and might not make the team says me.
  5. Just remembering....Miller standing next to Tyrod laying on the ground at midfield at the Ralph. Miller extends his hand to TT, TT reaches for it, and Miller pulls his hand away. The refs penalize the Bronco's 15 for unsportsman llike conduct. Yes, I was there...and I wonder a little bit about that guy after that bad play.
  6. although Fromm didn't do well in NY, I would favor another look at him. Of course, the Bills may have seen enough already, and they will know what is correct here. His performance w the Giants was Peterman like.
  7. Really glad the Browns got it wrong and Josh came to the Bills at #7 that year. Of course, it is the Browns....so...perhaps expected. But, that used to be the Bills, not anymore though.
  8. Forget Haskins, but Mason Rudolph would be a candidate if he is available.
  9. Bean is busy, busy , busy!
  10. Yeh, Beas is a bit of a wild hare........vaccination status and all. McK listened ultimately.
  11. After the game he had in NE when Beasley was out, I knew he could be the #1 slot receiver. No more just a gadget guy and spot starter. Not sure he does returns though if he is a full time slot receiver. Maybe Stevenson will make it...jury still out on him imho.
  12. Yep...upstate vs downstate....and the upstaters loose about 99% of the time. And, a dome downtown makes no sense as the logistics of getting in and out would be incredibley bad. At least in Orchard Park a fan can depart in multiple directions without running into a Lake or river.
  13. Cooper will cost to much imho. And, the hot/cold comment above is exactly correct.
  14. The problem for the Bills is Mack is making $22 mil a year or so, and the Bills can't fit him under their meager available cap. No premium signings ahead after paying 17. (that is ok by me btw)
  15. Beasley on a reduced contract is fine by me. McKenzie would also be a good keep. One new stud. Hodgkins hasn't shown anything yet, so I am not spending that nickel. He is entering year 3, and not many cheap years left if he is capable. So...., might as well take a shot with a true rookie who would have a few cheap years ahead.
  16. Giants in Cap hell, not gonna land there either.
  17. ESPN reported the Giants going to make a run at Mitch
  18. Same problem at Bills home games, even w Josh Allen. At my age, I am not standing the whole game. And, I am totally intolerant of drunks. (I might punch one out if he stumbles into me , as Toby Keith says, "I am as good once as I ever was")
  19. Well, they could have quit and received the same pay but they stayed. For me, I go to the games for the football, not t&a, so I don't miss them. May they never be reconstituted in any form!
  20. But, they could get Sammy Watkins back again..:) Jones will get another year....imho. Maybe even 2. He did pretty well as a rookie.
  21. A successful vet makes sense to me. Somebody who can contribute to the weekly conversation. Someone who can win a couple while Josh might be out. Barkley might still be around, he knows he is a backup. Fitz would work but would want more money than bills want to pay. On the other hand, it might make a last chance for Fitz to get a ring, and he might take a "ring chance" discount. That would work, and he has the teammate skills and knowledge. I think Fitz would be great in the role. Of course ,we know Fitz won't get us to the SB, but, he might be a link in the chain for a few weeks.
  22. About half the revenue the NFL generates goes to players......so tarring the billionaire owners is a half truth....need to say "billionaire owners and multimillionaire players"
  23. That is the kind of thing a union negotiates...get used to it in the NFL. Management and players are on opposite sides of the table.
