I am still confounded by the Douglas performance drop from 23 to 24. He was fantastic in 23 coming over from GB, and didn't have it at all in 24. I expect something else going on none of us know......

Diggs helped Allen grow by being that reliable #1. The Bills don't have that right now, but, Allen has grown in the 5 years now since Diggs arrived in Buffalo. Congrats to Diggs for getting the big bucks. Time will tell if that pays off for the Pats.

I remember the Jarius Byrd situation. Didn't play for 6 games about, and then reported and was "hurt" the rest of the season. This may be Cooks move. then, there was the Jason Peters fiasco when the Bills did not enforce a valid contract because the player wanted out. where I come from, some contracts overvalue, and some undervalue, and when they are signed ,you don't know who is getting the better deal...team or players. Players always want an undo if they over perform the contract. I would prefer to trade him before the draft, and pickup another rb in the late rounds on day three. Davis and Johnson can handle the job quite well.

Actually, he is not a reliable receiver. Drops are in his repertoire. Thats why Ty Johnson is the receiving back! He is a great runner ,but, the rest of his game is middling.

These guys won't get paid on suspension, so, 6 game checks each revert to the Bills I would think. So, built in slalary discount. They cn do camp, then will have to sit out and stay away for 4 games. Can practice for two weeks before week 7 I think.

Dolac was a surprise AAmerican to me. Yes, good, but then, overlooked by the pro's. I think the Bills, who develope talent, are a great landing spot. He will get free agent offers if not drafted, but Bean has late round picks to burn, and he should be one imho.

wrt the Benford situation. Remember the Bills were burned by the Tre White contract at CB. Perhaps with the concussions, they are wanting protection from that kind of injury situation again.

Miller is old and slow, getting by on his experience. Getting rid of him finally admits the unfortunate swing and miss here.

I hope Bean and the Bills learned from the Miller fiasco. A true swing and miss, and handicaped the Bills salary cap wise for 3 years. A really bad move. Lets see now, what are we talking about? Oh yeh, another such move. I am extreme suspicious that this works out well if executed. The Bills need to much help to give up the assets for Garrett, Crosby or Metcalf. And, Parson does not belong in this discussion, he is a creation of the sports media pumping the Cowboys to get more viewers. Parsons got eaten alive by the Bills a year ago.

HIs rookie year, Dennis Shaw as Bills QB was Offensive Rookie of the year in the AFL.(noodle arm) His career flamed out after that, but he did have one good year. Worth an asterick mention on the list. Of course, being my age, there are not many of us left on this board that recall him.

Williams looks fast on the field. He is a good player to have on the team. And, if he can learn to cover, he can replace Milano anytime I guess. Milano is now getting by on his experience and smarts. that works too, but he is in the downward path at this point it seems. Of course, lbs play in the league for a looong time if they want to, Milano may be one of those.

The Bills don't need another Willis McGahee situation. Having your #1 not play his first season is NG, even though McGahee turned out to be a pro, just not a speedy as he was in college.
