The Situation With Iran Goes Hot - Shots Fired
IDBillzFan replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He is the true poster child for TDS. Imagine being in such a demented meltdown mode that you can't even properly assess the situation beyond calling the president a coward. These nutbags have lost their damn minds. -
The Rooney Rule (still) isn’t working?
IDBillzFan replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
/thread. The NFL goes above and beyond most sports when it comes to this type of stuff. Teams are hiring anyone able to do the job, regardless of gender, skin color or anything else. In fact, the Bills are outstanding at it. But you're simply never going to please everyone, and as a result, everyone will keep complaining. I've mentioned this elsewhere, but mark my words, the NFL is one hotdog vendor complaint away from having a Salute To The LBGTQ CisGender Fans Month; players wearing rainbow shows...refs throwing rainbow flags...rainbow yard markers...interviews with players who like to cross-dress and make themselves pretty in the offseason. That's right. I'm looking at you, Brady*. Get your wife to pick out your best RuPaul outfit because you're next. -
Simply put, the leftists who don't like Trump (Busey, Tibs, Adams, etc) have themselves so spun up with hate that their brains have essentially turned to tapioca. Virtually everything that pukes out of their pieholes is just a slightly regurgitated twist to something Trump (or someone on the right )said to make it sound horrible. Then they repeat it over and over, kinda like how they insist Trump calling Mexican MS13 gang bangers monsters was really Trump calling all Mexicans monsters. Trump didn't say he'd target their cultural sites anymore than Pence said we killed the Iranian because of 9/11. That's the tapioca talking. Plain and simple.

Allen slammed on ESPN
IDBillzFan replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure why, but I find them tough to listen to. It's like listening to two old guys having breakfast at Dennys, talking in between bites of food. But Weis is a smart dude. -
Allen slammed on ESPN
IDBillzFan replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kirwan and Miller, who never shy away from applying criticism, have repeatedly said the BIlls are in the best AFC East position for the long term based on Beane and McDermott building everything correctly, from the ground up. They know Allen is raw, but they like the way they staff is developing him and the people around him. Kirwan repeatedly says it takes a new HC two years, at least, to learn how to be a HC. The only fans who can't see this are the fans who predicted Beane and "McClappy" and Allen would fail, and it has nothing to do with the state of the Bills and everything to do with the high-schoolish desire to insist they were right. Dumbest four words you'll ever hear from a football fan: I told you so. -

First of all, Allen didn't lose his mind and pretending that he did for the sake of making a point is ridiculous. Second, why would you even care? Seriously. You can turn on the TV and radio and hear multiple people laughing at other people about dozens of ridiculous things, and the smartest thing you can do is understand the childishness and laziness of such dialogue and tune it out. I swear, it's like the minute the Bills lost half this board turned into teenage girls who weren't asked to the prom. -
If they call that penalty, and the Bills win on a field goal, would that have made it a team win in your mind, or would it have simply been a lucky call in a game the Bills deserved to lose? I get it. It wasn't a great game by the Bills on multiple levels. But penalties are a part of the game. When they get called AND when they DON''T get called. That was a bad non-call that SHOULD have turned the game, and poo-pooing it because you somehow think the team should have played better is kinda lazy thinking, at best. One minute you're poo-pooing a flagrant non-call and the next minute the Rams are in the SB because of a flagrant non-call that would have given the Saints the ticket.

At some point people have to accept that fact that he simply is not near the QB everyone thinks he should be. You didn't even need to watch the game Saturday. Did you see his pick-six against Miami? It was so bad they attributed it to EJ Manuel. The minute he hears footsteps, he intentionally grounds the ball. A new stadium isn't going to get filled without a full season of winning under its belt, regardless of who plays there. Brady is too much of a diva to go to a place where three losses will have him playing home games filled with visiting fans...just like we've been watching all year with the Chargers. And he's no upgrade over Rivers with that OL.

The Impeachment Trial of President Donald J. Trump
IDBillzFan replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Wait. So Pelosi STILL hasn't forwarded the articles? It's almost as if she doesn't have a case to make. Imagine being stupid enough to believe this person. -
The only thing missing is someone here to explain how they always knew Allen would never be great, and how you homers with your red and blue kool-aid glasses will never be right about anything because you're all a bunch of homers who are too blind to embrace the joy that comes from watching the Bills fail like a REAL fan should!

Cowboys hire Mike McCarthy as Head Coach
IDBillzFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some people think so after yesterday's clock management issues. -
Who would you rather be a fan of today?
IDBillzFan replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Which is why homers like me get such a laugh at your expense. We know the issue isn't whether you drink the Kool Aid or not, or whether we watch the game with blinders on. It is almost always, always, always about about this childish need to come to a message board to write those useless words, "I told you so. I was right and you homers were wrong." As predictable as a sunrise. And worth every chuckle to us homers. -
Thank you Bills, You'll Get There......
IDBillzFan replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You didn't know that for certain at this time last year anymore than you know it for certain this time about next year. So are you still a Sabres fan, or were so you smart about the disaster that awaited them that you stopped being a fan? -

IDBillzFan replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh, please. Some of you are so condescendingly childish, it's borderline embarrassing. Here's a little pathway to better understanding. When it comes to being a Bills fan, ask yourself a few questions. Question 1: Can you change the team? Hint; the answer is no. You, yourself, can literally do nothing to change this team. No matter how smart you think you are for not wearing blinders, you can't change the team. Even if you quit being a fan and cancel your tickets, it doesn't change the team. Nothing you, personally, can do can change the team. Question 2: Since you can't change the team, can you live with it? It's a yes or no question. If the answer is no, then stop being a fan. If the answer is yes, then why in the holy hell would you care whether someone is wearing blinders? Because you think you're somehow smarter than the fans who choose to be homers? Believe me, the absolute opposite is true. If you can't change it and you won't stop being a fan, try giving up on standing in judgement of people just because you incorrectly believe yourself to be the smarter fan. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - All Part of the Process
IDBillzFan replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well written and well thought out. I hope every Bills fan who soiled themselves gunning for blood after the game last night reads this and understands what rational, thoughtful fan analysis looks like. Yes, it was a disappointment. Yes, a lot of things were bad. Yes, there is plenty of blame to go around. But the trajectory doesn't change for next year, and the process will continue, and hopefully the team will continue to improve. Thanks, Shaw. -
Gutting the team if they don't win the AFC East is not unreasonable? You nuts crack me up.
-
Nice take. All true. Work to do, no doubt. But a great run, and lots of promise. If you're thinking about bailing on the team after today, you clearly are missing a terrific build.
-
Win the AFC East or gut the whole thing at OBD! Get rid of everyone! Start all over again! Really tired of people saying how smart Bills fans are. Passionate. Yes. Smart. Not so much.

Gore : 8 carries for 22 yards
IDBillzFan replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You 300-yard people are batschitt crazy. -
We saw this coming. Kinda surprised Newsome signed it. Also, I believe the original fine was $100, not $1000. But the jump doesn't surprise me. Keep in mind, it's 55 gallons per person per household. But it's also not just restricted to laundry and showers. It's your total water bill, which also includes things like irrigation. And you better hope you don't get a slab leak or something you can't immediately see. Horrible law. Especially when you consider how little the state does to develop ways to preserve the water they do have when they get their heavy rains. But hey...look at that view!

Trump foreign policy

So keep taking out the next head. One after another. Let's see if they run out of heads before we run out of bullets. -
The dude can barely bake a potato if you spotted him an oven and an already baked potato. He doesn't have the first blink of what it means to be a Christian, only what he thinks it means to NOT be a Christian, which sounds a little like "something something Trump immoral something something orangemanbad something something fake evangelicals."
