Great article here on LA homeless problem. Worth the read. I've driven through and around this area a few times. It's breathtakingly heartbreaking. And housing is not the problem. The Moral Crisis of Skid Row.

Speaking of NDAs...this looks a bit problematic. -

I'm not familiar with NDAs as they relate to keeping employees quiet about sexual inappropriateness. Most of the ones I sign are giving me access to discuss products/projects with customers who, after the fact, want me to keep my mouth shut about their products/projects. That said, he made a comment at the debate that came across as condescending as schitt to this topic, but is probably the kind of thing you're going to hear: "they didn't like a joke I told." So he made a bad joke, some chicks got offended, knows he hands out c-notes like Chiclets, and grabbed some go-away cash. I doubt he would release something salacious. But on the other hand, he's proven he really has no regards for the little people, and if his team was stupid enough to buy a billboard about burned steak, who knows how stupid they are about this. -
Hey leftists...even your media doesn't want to carry this water for you again because you damn near drowned them in it the last time. Take a hint. Stop the lies. Back Bernie. And if you're really concerned, there is a very simple answer: Mandatory Voter ID.

Maybe now the Dems will get behind mandatory voter ID! -

First, I take slight issue with giving credence to perceived winners and losers. I watched Chris Christie take out Marco Rubio in a debate, and I watched Tusli complete destroy Kamala Harris' efforts. On this particular night, Bernie didn't lose any ground, which is good for Bernie. Warren killed Bloomberg, but I'm told there is no pathway for her at this point, so she helps Bernie more than anything. In the end though, as it relates to your #4, it's not difficult to ramp up Red Scare tactics because there is simply too much video of Bernie promoting and loving communism and appreciating bread lines. I understand people change, but that's his history. By the time you have the squad in his corner demanding the left embrace socialism, it's not a scare tactic. It's a legit problem. Lastly, as much as I detest everything about Bloomberg, he did the one thing none of the other candidates had the guts to do: hit him on the 'billionaire with three houses" bit. None of the candidates would do it because most of them have millions and multiple houses as well. But for one brief moment, Bernie was Ivan Drago and Bloomberg was Rocky and just when you thought Ivan was untouchable, Rocky cut him. That whole sequence was a terrible look for Bernie. You can't talk about helping those who can't help themselves while enjoying your summer home. You either believe what you're telling people, or you don't. Anyway, I'm glad you're here to discuss. No matter what people think about Bernie, at least you're not stupid enough to come here to explain 'peace through green jobs' by backing a dude who literally refers to himself as an ecosocialist. -

Hey, man. Like...peace through green jobs, y'know? Like, as if, you know, people had jobs, and as, for example, where they could, like, wear dress like, such as, leprechauns all day, there would be peace and all, for example, like greenness! -

You know what's funny? The left has gone so batschittcrazy to the side of socialism, that the Greenies yelling "peace through green jobs" is no longer the dumbest thing we hear in politics. -

Smart play on Trump's behalf. CA will never turn red because of ballot harvesting, but those ballots are always blue. But he can add to his popular vote total so if he wins re-election and gets the popular vote at the same time, the left will finally shut up about eliminating the electoral college.

It dawned on me last night that history may well judge Bloomberg to be the next Edsel. Marketing made everyone want an Edsel. The Edsel made everyone not buy it. Why? Because when the marketing was done and the car was introduced for everyone to see, it turned out it was not the car of the future. It was just another car. Not much different than all the other cars it was up against. -
The issue, I think, is that the government is forcing private companies to take on customers they may prefer not to take on. Private companies know the government that can force them to take on customers who don't fit their business plan/model can also, after the fact, force them to cap their costs and absorb the losses. If there is a true need to provide high-cost home insurance to high-risk homes, someone or some company will fill that void, or people will stop buying houses in high-risk areas. Exactly.

I disagree. There were two moments, maybe three, when I thought the 'horror employer' reputation was going to surface and she was going to start beating Pete with her mic for not remembering to bring muffins on Muffin Monday. If you don't know what he stands for and just tuned in, Pete was most likable by far.

One thing these candidates have in common; whatever the challenge is, they have a $1 trillion plan to fix it.
