  1. I don't know. It sounds like a good thing, but is it really going to be enough to counter the run the Dolphins are about to go on now that they've dumped Ajayi? Color me concerned. [/saviorPeterman}
  2. I don't care what anyone says. That movie cracked me up.
  3. Hey, don't we have a couple of posters here who work in Hollywood? Part of me is expecting someone from TBD to get accused of being too handsy at Hammer's Lot.
  4. I won't believe it until I see a tweet from his girlfriend.
  5. If Tom Brady really wants to play until he's 45, I have one word for him: Retatta.
  6. In fairness, they must have had a good time reading TBD when Watkins was traded.
  7. Gee, I feel like I've read that concept here recently. It's all just luck and it can't continue and then you'll all see how right I am to be miserable about this lucky, lucky team!
  8. I think this game shows you how unimpressive the Bills win over Denver really was.[/saviorPeterman]
  9. I don't give a crap how much respect he gets. What bugs me is when some people just need to think they're smarter than everyone else to the extent that they pick nits to make a point. Look, I expect Taylor to make some mistakes. He had a couple of throws I know he'd like back from yesterday. He may well cost us a game in the future. But if you think you can predict whether he can get you to the SB based on numbers, you're embarrassing yourself. The Bears beat the Panthers 17-3, and Trubisky threw the ball SEVEN FREAKING TIMES. That tells me numbers don't mean crap because every single game is different. Every one. I'll never understand why people find the need to be miserable.
  10. Who honestly gives a crap? The line is the line right now. It ain't changing very much. One of the dumbest things I hear NFL talking heads say is "If you give (fill in the name of an NFL quarterback) enough time, he'll pick you apart!" Hey, no schitt, Sherlock. If you're good enough to be an NFL quarterback, you SHOULD pick people apart if you have enough time. What I want to know is how many teams are successful when they get pressure like Taylor has been getting? You can almost set music to Aaron Rodgers when he moves around the pressure, but under the same pressure you see Tom Brady knocked on his ass, yelling because he got a boo-boo. How much time did Carr have yesterday? Did you see how bad some of his throws were? Now go back and watch the TD throw to Holmes and ask a better question: how many other teams's quarterbacks break from that pressure, flip, turn, roll out and throw a freaking bullseye toe-tap TD?
  11. Seems like only yesterday that Santa was a bad ass fighting with Lee Majors in...The Night The Reindeer Died!
  12. Here's something of a random thought: there is a difference between first hand and firsthand.
  13. I forever have a pit in my stomach, but after they got the first down, I was reminded of a big drive they had against Atlanta. They killed something like 12 minutes on one drive. Granted, they came away with only three at the time, but they didn't need points on that drive yesterday. They needed to kill the clock, and I don't mind admitting how much fun it was to see them do it with confidence. Maybe someday I'll have confidence as well.
  14. As I'm reading through this thread, I can't help but feel like maybe you're just having fun playing devil's advocate. By the end of last season, I was convinced Taylor was useless. I kept hearing the same things over and over: can't throw over the middle of the field, can't throw receivers open, can't feel pressure, can't throw for 300 yards, and the more I watched, the more that became evident. But if you are unable to see considerable improvement in pretty much all aspects of his game this year, and see a quarterback who can get this team to the playoffs, then I have to assume you just don't want to see it. And who says the turnovers won't continue to come? Who says the defensive effort will dry up? Are you paying attention? Elston with a pick? Who the hell is Elston? We have an Italian with two turnovers in the last two games. Freaking Hauschka forced a turnover, for crying out loud. HAUSCHKA! For the first time in years, I can look at the schedule and NOT find you a 100% guaranteed loss. Not any more. Not at this moment. We finally have a team that doesn't beat itself, and a quarterback able to play within himself, and it boggles my mind that anyone would think this is anything other than a genuine team. I get it. Predicting failure is easy. Odds say Taylor will never win a SB. But this is the closest we've been in years, so maybe try enjoying it.
  15. Why do some of you need to be miserable? Rough childhood? Hot girls ignore you? Inquiring minds want to know.
  16. Surely you're not suggesting they have those records BECAUSE of Sammy and Darby, right?
  17. Not sure what took some people so long. I was hearing he was a failure in the first quarter of the second preseason game. Still not sure how so many posters on a football team message board aren't GMs of a professional football franchise. Real head-scratcher there.
  18. I don't understand why this very simple, basic line of reasoning is lost on so many people. This is a perfect example of addition by subtraction. It may hurt the team a little now, but the foundation of players moving toward a common goal just got much stronger.
  19. This guys is such a freaking piece of schit. As you've no doubt learned as a new CA resident, we'd NEVER elect a dumbass like him in Calfornia.
  20. Frankly, the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw this was that it was completely unlike Kiko to intentionally go after someone like that. I think your history as a player contributes to the thinking. See what happened when Suh did the choke hold? Everyone thought "Oh, man, here goes Suh again." I doubt anyone had that thought about Kiko, which is why I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt.
  21. I think the idea of Bolden being oppressed is the single most ridiculous and stupid thing I've read on this board in years, which says a lot ever since SaviorPeterman has been active. However, based on your posting history, it never, ever, EVER dawned on me that you were being anything but serious. Have a good weekend. Get out. Meet people. The world isn't nearly filled with the kind of schitholes you think it is.
  22. Actually the reason reality shows exist is because Hollywood actors decided to strike it led to them finding out America doesn't need actors in order to watch TV.
  23. Ah, yes. The ol' "I was only kidding" argument. You see, I don't question for one moment you believe what you wrote because in another thread about Kaep, you insisted that the Kaep discussion was proving that I, and Bills fans in general, are bigots and haters of blacks. Oh, wait. Let me guess. You were just joking then, too? You didn't mean to suggest the BIlls fan base is full of bigoted haters? Oh, that Gugny. He's such a joker.
