I suspect Soros funds most of this type of stuff. I don't think it pays particularly well, but it gives him pocket change for those rare days he leaves the basement.

He's not blind. He's paid to post this stuff for the left. He mostly does it in comments sections at places like Fox News, The Hill, etc. I suspect he is also a Bills fan, and chooses to earn a few bucks on this site as well.

The difference is that people on the right denounce a nut like Nugent. People on the left embrace Samantha Bee. They want more. They justify here. They love her. She's your hero.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

Richard Gere, as well. I remember him interviewed about Tibet once, and immediately expected something along the lines of Gwyneth Paltrow discussing toilet paper resourcefulness. Dude was amazing in knowledge and action. -
The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
IDBillzFan replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Most fans do what their favorite celebs suggest, be it wearing a Johnny Depp cologne or voting for Kennedy. The problem now is that the media demands that celebrities weigh in, in part because the celebs will always take the liberal position. The left spent a little time going crazy because Taylor Swift refused to get pulled into the fray. She reaches millions upon millions of young girls, and the left was so desperate for her input that they started writing articles complaining that she would not weigh in, as though she had some responsibility to do so. On the upside, their continued meltdown is wonderful to watch. -
Because the party of Tiberius/gator/baskin believes that the message was right, even though maybe the word was wrong. They piss their pants when Trump refers to MS-13 as animals, but calling the president's daughter a c**t, and suggesting she get some incest going with him, is perfectly acceptable because it's more important to defend MS-13 gang members than it is to defend the president's daughter. There's your mid-term message. Best meltdown ever keeps moving along.

I know what she did was pretty ridiculous, but you're lying if you aren't enjoying the strength of this leftist meltdown. There is no way I thought we'd see it so often, on such a grand scale, for as long as it's lasted. It's beautiful. Trump should be well into his second term before they finally realize how badly they've FUBAR'ed things for their party.

I can't wait for that to happen, so I continue on my current plan to be gone within the next year. The only thing that would change my plan is the local housing market. There's a big market in our area for maternity tourism; large homes that can accommodate multiple pregnant women. Very big business here, especially with Asians. I've got 5/3, 3000+ square feet and quite a bit of patience.

Agree completely. In truth, that's a genuinely human moment. There is this absolute sense of bewilderment. Like Mr. Bellows after Barbara Eden makes something disappear when he turns his back for a second. Unfortunately, human moments are wasted on people like Ben Rhodes. If he were a genuinely gracious person, instead of the spiteful, sniveling, childish, thin-skinned left-wing nutbag that he plays in social media, it would be an iconic moment. Instead, he's gone SO full-goose-bozo on anyone who says the word "Trump" that the only thing people want to do when they watch that video is mock him.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

One of my favorite comments on Twitter was something to the effect of: Anyone notice how everyone mocking an adult woman for talking policy were last month insisting we should heed the policy advice of a bunch of teenagers? -
What age range of young Americans are you referring to? What type of investments should be made, and by whom?

You can collect all the names of people here who care what you think about other posters, write those names down, crumble up the paper and comfortably shove it in the ass of gnat. No one cares. No one. Only you. And the more you post stuff like you post about me, the more you become the poster you love to hate. Stick to football. You're much less incoherent on that topic, but at least it contributes to the board.

It is, but it won't last long. Here's how it will go: He'll explain how he doesn't need to prove anything, and then reference how I argued with TG in a thread years ago that led to TG leaving TBD. I'll post the thread he's referencing...a thread I literally did not post in...and he'll say it doesn't matter, he knows what he knows. Then he'll call me names and take shots at me personally about something that he remembers back when Shout! was still in print. This thread will be closed. He'll come back to a different thread and explain how everyone is ruining TBD.

Sometimes you're more unhinged than Richie Incognito in a weight room. Please do this: Count all my posts at TSW in the past five years, then count how many of them were hate-fueled Tim Graham posts. Show everybody how I have dedicated my TSW time to everything Tim Graham. Do it. And when you're done, come back here with your evidence and I'll accept your apology for lying.

You know why Kaepernick isn't in the NFL right now? Because his girlfriend couldn't shut her race-baitingh piehole long enough for the deal to be made. Period.

Roseanne Show cancelled by ABC after racist tweet
IDBillzFan replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Interesting take. I think you and I were watching two different shows. Yes, she did the stupid kitty hat thing with the over-the-top character of Laurie Metcalf, but in spite of her character being a devout Trump supporter, she had a black granddaughter, and a grandson who dressed like a girl and wore makeup. Not only did she go to bat for the boy at school to dress as he wants, but she took a racist grocery store checkout girl to the shed for mocking a Muslim woman on food stamps...after paying for the woman's food when she barely had money of her own. If that didn't show you 'extremists on the right' coming back to earth on some things, it may be you just didn't see what you wanted to see. -
Life gets tougher every day

You can't expect him to live forever with his sister and the nipple twisting that goes on there! -
Writers like Sully always kind of remind me of Shooter McGavin in "Happy Gilmore." In their prime, they were revered because there were not a lot of options. But when there ARE other options, they sometimes find themselves, out of desperation, trying to figure out how to hit a golf ball with a hockey stick. I certainly remember the anticipation of sitting down with my newspaper because it was my only place to read the news. Hell, the arrival of "Shout!" damn near had me shut out everyone while I sat in my back yard reading it cover to cover. When the internet opened portals to vast information at any time, some adapted and others, like Sullivan, were too late to respond and went after the low-hanging fruit: fans who love to be angry. Which is a lot like being alone in the woods with a golf ball and hockey stick.

Generally speaking, most sports writers have two common traits: they don't really earn much money relative to their effort, and they tend to lean left ideologically. So you often times end up with a person who works a lot of hours earning whatever his union can get him, and his/her job is to report on billionaire's sports teams. One bleeds into the other, which is why no one is surprised to find out what you note above: they don't like the teams they cover, they don't like the owners of the teams, and oh, by the way, they work ridiculously long hours for one part pay and two parts notoriety. In three days, you know who will miss Sully the most? The other sports writers who know him. The rest of us? Not so much, I predict. I agree with what you're saying, but let's be honest: how much effort does it take to do what he does? Drive somewhere. Sit. Watch. Walk. Interview. Record. Walk. Drive somewhere. Sit. Type. Submit. It's not like he's too old to play the game. He's a freaking writer. His biggest physical concern is carpal tunnel.
