Let me try this a little bit more less definitively. I don't doubt some of them want to abolish ICE. I don't doubt some of them want to abolish borders. In fact, I don't doubt many of them, including white politicians, want to abolish white people. What I'm suggesting is this isn't something they genuinely want. They didn't launch their political careers with "open the borders and abolish ICE," so much as they find that a winning argument for whatever constitutes their very small base, which now has started to wave the socialism flag. In the end, they are collectively just yelling for the sake of yelling because they aren't smart enough to figure out how to do anything of substance.

These aren't politicians who actually want to abolish ICE. They're politicians who want to disagree with Trump at ever turn. It's truly the funniest part of his presidency, actually. He has them so unhinged, they yell at everything he does. Think about it. He literally got them to defend MS-13.
