Hey, I've kinda laid low here with your interactions because you do a lot of good work at TBD, and people here were taking you to task pretty well without my help. But let me be the first to point out that when your response over here is the equivalent of "I know you are, but what am I?", it's usually best to just move along and not post. Just a friendly suggestion.

That's mostly coming from people like Tibs, who are paid to stir the pot in comment sections in places like Youtube and news stories. These aren't particularly bright people. They're just nutbags copy/pasting trash talking nonsense. They're like "Occupy Wall Street," but they're Occupy Comment Sections, and you can't smell them or watch them throw their feces around.

The problem isn't that they won't nominate someone based on your criteria. The problem is they can't. They have a very narrow bench, and the people sitting on it (Booker, Warren, Alexandria, etc.) are incapable of doing what you are asking (which is very astute and reasonable). Even when you DID have someone who would keep himself in check verbally (Obama), he was surrounded by people doing his bidding and putting labels on everyone for the sake of dividing and critiquing. There's a reason Clinton accused him of pulling the race card, and a reason people like Rahm and Axelrod were so tight to him: they did all his dirty work to make it look like Barry was clean. The first thing the Dems need to do is purge leadership (Pelosi, Media Matters, etc), and that isn't going to happen for some time.

I feel like those specific Americans...the ones who see Trump as a traitor, etc....are predictably left leaning.These are the same people convinced that Stormy Daniels will somehow manage to cornhole her way past the Cindy Sheehan Bar for Chicks the Left Likes To Wave Around Because They Are Unable to Create Their Own Message. The rest of America is tired of their noise. The right has been tired of their noise for years, but the rest of America, who tries to avoid discussing this stuff 24/7, is most assuredly tired of their idiocy. That part of America doesn't really know or care about the minutia. They know the impeachment/treason stupidity is just that...stupidity. They also know that nutbags in masks are holding up traffic on their way to work, and that Facebook is unbearable, and that common sense would easily dictate that the problems that come from a porous border are bad, predictable and completely avoidable. The left is on the losing side of history right now. It will undoubtedly change. And the right will return to looking like a meandering mess. But the left is losing because they've pissed off the people who have always followed them, and they literally have no message beyond "OMG, Trump is an idiot!! OMG!!!" You can find all kinds of things wrong with the left, but their biggest problem is that they can't stop melting down long enough to come up with a coherent message that will get people to take them seriously again. These could be the coolest mid-terms ever.

Still in all, I would like them to explain it for us. Break down Matthew 25. Explain how Kavanaugh comes into play. The article said they were "surrounded by faith leaders." Perhaps the faith leaders can explain it for us. Perhaps those who like Booker and Warren can explain it for us. Or, perhaps, like most leftists, they simply repeat what they're told to say without questioning what they're being told to say because they know their audience is similarly convinced that the reason Trump's picture comes up when you Google "idiot" is because 'the Google' is never wrong.

I would like Booker and Warren explain, specifically, how the Kavanaugh moment is "crystalized" in Matthew 25. We'll wait.
