I think this is a thread to throw things that don't mean anything...so...

When leftists lie (again) and not only get caught, but get embarrassed in process. When will they stop lying and when will they stop being racist?

Let's start with the premise of the Teen Vogue tweet: To end poverty, you must end capitalism. The article then discusses the benefits of socialism. That is the very premise of that tweet and article, and even a lazy poster like yourself need only look at the tweet to verify it. Now, let's cut away to a place that embraced socialism with the promise to end poverty. Get the point? Or do you need someone to google more answers for you?

I have to wonder if the older residents of Portland have had enough. I think everyone realizes the mayor/police chief is allowing this to happen, so at what point do the residents finally vote him out so law enforcement can effectively do it's job of protecting the citizens?

As opposed to, say, claiming Booker did a lot of good things but being unable to name any of them? We know you're not here to play games because you're even too lazy to answer a simple question.

Y'know, if you're going to hang out on a message board, the least you can do is show even the simplest understanding that blanket statements ("he did a lot of good things...") may require some supporting data. The laziest of posters will make such statements, and then respond with "look it up yourself," and that's fine, if you're 12. But if you're going to repeatedly explain you participate here in search of knowledge and sharing thoughts, but are too embarrassingly lazy to support a basic statement, then head over to DailyKos where that is the norm. If he did a lot of good things, naming 5 should be like listing ingredients for chicken soup. Try harder.

I think you could argue that Teen Vogue is not really the media, per se, but then you see this and think "Who the hell is in charge at Teen Vogue?" The article is ridiculous, the the tweet is what tips it over. You can't end poverty without ending capitalism? Can someone send these Teen Vogue readers some photos from Venezuela?

I would be interested to see your link supporting that Shapiro has ever been more than 'government should not be in the business of marriage, gay, straight or otherwise' because once the government is involved, it can then force churches like Synagogues to marry gays, against their religion. Likewise you can not force a person by federal law to do something against their religion. Just ask the Little Sisters of the Poor. Or the Christian baker. The left wants to do this because they need control over everyone to ensure that the only way to live is how the left wants you to live. That's all I'm saying.

Crowly did more to help Obama than Obama did. The difference is that if Crowly does that to Trump, he takes her to task right then and there and the right eats it up. Instead, we got Crowly incorrectly correcting Romney and "binders full of women" and "Romney caused a woman to die of cancer" and "Romney hazed a kid in college by cutting his hair." That's how Obama won.

What is particularly staggering is how this happened. They literally just got names of people off FB. No verification. No notice. Nothing. There has to be a crime there. You just don't take people who are suspected of being a victim of a violent crime and put their names in an ad campaign. Beyond being vile and disgusting, it simply has to be illegal.

While I'm not privy to what either of them thought for "many years," the reality is that they have been against gay marriage for as long as they consider themselves men of God. You don't need to know anything more than that, for starters. I'm sure you think the Bible is just a bunch of letters and stories, and you're welcome to believe that, but you're NOT welcome to make men of God do or support something they believe is against their religion. That's kind of an important part of this country's history. But even when you see them finding a solution, to you it's a 'cheat,' which is pretty telling. Gay marriage should absolutely be a state issue, and it's the perfect solution to whatever ails the left. If you are in favor of gay marriage, you have the choice to move to a state that acknowledges it. Don't like it? Move from the state. The problem is that leftists believe only they are right, and everyone should be forced to submit to their anti-Christian views at the federal level. Lazy and dangerous thinking, but leftists are lazy and dangerous anyway, so that's no surprise.
