  1. Brady is VERY accurate, And also holds or held the record for pass attempts with an INT. Achieved against the Bills, : ( Also, E.J. isn;t putting up 20 TD's on any team in any season. When he does complete a pass, it's barely past the LOS. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81d354d0/article/pats-brady-sets-nfl-mark-for-pass-attempts-without-interception
  2. well, that was another Buddy Nix pick, one that was supposed to change the game for Buffalo... Another first rounder, gone...
  3. Does anyone else find it interesting or ironic that the player which Marrone possbly misued the most is going to a team where Marrone coached and was offensive coordinator?
  4. LOL. Thanks Augie. I needed that!
  5. Very nice. Thank you. So, basically, C.J. can break a big one, just not very often and the remainder of carries are very low yards/carry? If one looked at his stat lines during/in games last year, it was pretty ugly sometimes. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/gamelog/_/id/13203/cj-spiller
  6. Seriously! Have you ever seen a guy get so much love, that hasn't ever STARTED an NFL game?
  7. Huh. I read he had passes bounce off his hands and came up limping 2 days in a row? I wasn't there obviously. Chris Brown was.
  8. I think you're right. He averaged 10.7 yards/rec in 2012, which seems crazy to me for a back.
  9. I liked Spiller as well, just never lived up to the 7th overall pick level, probably mostly due to coaching and use. However, he was NEVER an every down back, o Seemed to get banged up a lot, and never really carried much of a load. o He did have the one good season under Gailey. Great in space, but didn't seem to break a lot of tackles. o Didn't have good field vision it seemed to me, and ran out of bounds a lot. IMO He did seem to catch very well, and was a really good 3rd down option. But SUPERSTAR? Not really seeing that. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/13203/cj-spiller
  10. Bingo. We know some about E.J., we know very little about Taylor. This is a playoff team with adequate QB play, from someone.
  11. True, but every other team stayed away from him, due to his issues or attitude between the ears. He was said to be 1st round talent, yet almost went un-drafted... Draft: 2014 7th round (22nd pick) by the Buffalo Bills I would bet he starts again at right tackle unless he completely implodes.
  12. This was discussed in another tread at length: Basically I have Goodwin on the bubble, Hogan stays as he was somewhat productive last year. IMO
  13. I would tend to agree, although they could just let him stew over the next 6 weeks if he is having an attitude problem, and hope he gets it together when training camp starts and he realizes he IS on the bubble. Also, it doesn't cost much to keep him as 7rd pick I imagine. ?/
  14. Sorry, having a little fun. Been to Cleveland, and many parts of Ohio. Great places.
  15. https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?ei=UTF-8&type=agc511&hspart=avast&hsimp=yhs-001&p=cleveland+ohio+river+burning Some options!
  16. The Bills signed Kyle Orton a week before the season started, dumping Tuel and Lewis I believe just prior. So anything is possible.
  17. Correct. I think you are taking this out of context: I picked the last game he started, after which he as benched. I would have benched him also. E.J. bad was > Orton bad, IMO, and every game E.J. played into the season, D coordinators were going to pick him apart. He wasn't getting. Marrone was just barely smart enough to pull him and maybe salvage the season: which he did. IMO Everyone can criticize Marrone, and I will too for other decisions, but not that one.
  18. Sorry. Also, I posted the wrong bad game. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2014092802/2014/REG4/bills@texans?icampaign=GC_schedule_rr#menu=gameinfo|contentId%3A0ap3000000404139&tab=analyze&analyze=playbyplay Orton clearly wasn't the answer. Agreed. 21 - 44, for 245 yards. 2 TD 2 PICK, 5.6 yards/attempt. 47 % completions? That's pretty bad IMO.
  19. I am getting drawn further down the rabbit hole here. I did not like Doug Marrone as coach after the first season. O coordinator was brutal IMO also. Game decisions were horrible and he couldn't seem to find a way to manage the O-line correctly. I DO NOT fault him for pulling E.J. after 4 starts however: I had seen enough myself also. Orton was bad after several games/end of season, however not E.J. bad.
  20. Dude, seriously? Circular reasoning
  21. Bingo. So if Taylor was such an impressive backup, why didn't Kubiak get him, for next to nothing. IMO
  22. He had a number of BAD games, not just 1, please don't be such an E.J. apologist. The Houston disaster just happened to be the one that got him benched. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2014092100/2014/REG3/chargers@bills?icampaign=GC_schedule_rr#menu=drivechart&tab=analyze&analyze=boxscore
  23. According to reports I'm seeing, Taylor is overthrowing anyone he can find, deep anyhow.
  24. All three? Henderson was considered a great value because of his issues/maturity. The others? Well, someone has to step up, I'll agree with that. Plugging in a rookie G, however talented, worries me a bit.
  25. I'm starting to wonder about old Rex. The Jets were stacked when he got there, and they had success, and then they took steps backwards as I recall. QB selections come to mind and I wonder how much input Rex was given there?
