Great, so we can draft 1st round starters. Congrats.
Go ahead and start your own thread with starters AFTER the first two rounds!
It'll be a short thread.
From another thread praising TD, I figured equal time is fair.
Of the currect depth chart I went through and determined of the players
who would start, only 8 have been drafted by TD since coming here, and
only 1 after the second round.
Notice only 1 O-lineman:
============================================
J.P. Losman 1
Willis McGahee 1
Lee Evans 1
Mike Williams 1
Aaron Schobel 2
Chris Kelsay 2
Ron Edwards (Probably not a starter) 3
Terrence McGee 4
Nate Clements 1
============================================
You TD supporters can try and spin this any way you like, however I believe
this shows clearly TD has been unable to draft much quality after
round 2.
And this is not a Super Bowl team.
Actually I do not include starters that aren't starters.
Also, upon further review, of the eight starters that I listed drafted by TD,
one (1) has come after the second round. One. That clearly shows TD
and friends have not done a good job drafting starters.
I find this rather shocking. No late round projects or anything that you would
normally think would surface after four years of drafts.
Well is isn't that bad, and isn't that good either.
Did a quick check and it isn't even 10 or 11, it's more like
8 or 9. And notice only one O-lineman. A very high first round pick.

He drafts have been mediocre. Take a look at our roster and see how many
starters we drafted. About half, and these are all TD guys except Mould.
If you have only drafted 10 or 11 starters in four years, you are not
getting the job done.
IF we made the deal and IF we moved up and IF we get Bass, then it would
be a nice move.
The longer this thing goes on, the worse it seems to get. There has been
very little interest in TH to date and this may be hurting his value further.
I think TD is taking a gamble.
Amazing, this whole TD being shrewd thing is great. He is trying to milk
a little more for a backup-backup trade, and paying MW $9 + mill./year.
Penny wise and pound foolish.
Maybe we are seeing some backlash by players not giving a hometown discount
or other things. Everyone knows TD will throw you under the bus just as soon
as look at them.
"CANDOR", you must be kidding me. He talks out both sides of him
mouth better than anyone on the NFL.
See "Teflon Tom".
Give me a break, a you a family member?
Well, we DO have a $ 9,000,000.00 + right tackle, don't we?
Oh, wait. Damn, we have a right-handed QB.
Well, there is always next year. Uh, it IS next year!
I still find it hard to believe that we are going into the the 2005 season
with a rookie QB and no left tackle, and possibly a new/rookie center.
It kind of sounds like deciding to build a house, and after four years,
decide to install electrical and plumbing.
The "Tuna", Bill Parcells said once that you lose one game in a season
for every rookie you start. If we started a rookie QB and a rookie center,
that would be two games.
Not saying don't do it.
Flame away.
Great. I'm glad to see that the Bills are cleaning some house in
the secondary. Seems like bad things happen when backups
from both saftey positions were on the field.
Wait, STOP THE PRESSES! This just in. Drew Can't run!
So, Bledsoe can't scramble like Mike Vick and if he could, the yards/rush
numbers would be better. OK. If he didn't have to scramble ever, because
the O-line protected so good, they would be worse.
I guess the O-line is the strongest unit on the team and not an issue.
