  1. I agree in general with your comments, however taking a step back and looking at the stats from this year, I would say: 1. If your team finishes 27'th in the league running the ball, which the Bills did. 2. If your team finishes 28'th in the league passing the ball, which the Bills did. Almost everyone is expendable. Jason Peters by all accounts is for real, a definite keeper. Even if every other starter on the O-line was a "5" on a scale 1 - 10, upgrade any and all other positions. If the only upgrade to Fowler was marginal, then keep him. He is listed as 6'3" 295, and after five years in the league, he isn't getting any stronger, any better of any faster. He would not be starting for most NFL teams I would guess.
  2. There has been some very questionable play calling the last several weeks from this staff. This one just didn't matter.
  3. Agree. So save the money spent on him, and draft some D-linemen and a LB.
  4. This team has a very middle of the road defense, and ranks 29'th against the run. How good can he be? How much can he possibly be missed? I know the middle of the D-line is horrible, but come on.
  5. DETOX = Turd
  6. From SOPCAST 14470? If so, you seem to be the only one.
  7. Buffalo is ranked # 29 in overall offense, and # 30 in passing yards /game.
  8. Correct, they did turn it around. And as I recall the Bills that year had the 1st or 2nd fewest injuries to starters in the league, and also played the weakest NFC division in football, being the NFC West. That was also after the fourth year of the rebuiding process under TD. This team is not going anywhere this year. I do appreciate you hoping.
  9. I tend to agree. The season is over, and management need to find out what they have. Funny how few people even read your thread or responded. I basically banished myself about a year ago because we were getting a lot of nonsense posts, however I felt the desire to respond after reading your post.
  10. Hey, why don't you pass the hat and buy yourself a life. I'm done with this board. Good luck.
  11. Good points.
  12. How many starts has he had since leaving Buffalo? Not an NFL starting QB. Just a quick, change of pace backup. Oh, yeah. He started for San Diego in 2001, when they went 5 - 11.
  13. HenryFumbles, Ole Whitey, yourself? Open ended question?
  14. Always with the 'get it behind you as soon as possible' speak. Moulds and MM and everyone else spinning this already. Always kills me when these guys break out the following: "it's in the past", "we have to move forward", "it's behind us now", "the issue has been settled". Heck no. It's not behind us, it's staring us right in the face. And it's not in the past. The suspension will be carried out Sunday. Quit trying to cover your stumbling tracks until after the event has occurred! Stupid MM won't say anything because he can't and has his foot in his mouth, and as soon as someone does finally let everyone know the hell is going on, it's the the PAST! Where is # 1 Clown Ole' Whitey during all of this. Running for cover.
  15. Uhh... yeah. : ) Actually, I was going against the 2000 team/roster which he took over that went 8-8, which is where we were before Ole' Whitey started his "25 year plan".
  16. The real killer, is that after five years of purging the roster to get us out of cap hell, drafting and FA signings, two head coaches and three offensive coordinators, numerous starting QBs and all the "rebuilding", we are no better off then when we started. None.
  17. Trade down or out of first round.
  18. I just read Clements got toasted again by a good receiver, Chambers, who had a career day. Is this actually the case? http://www.realfootball365.com/nfl/article...eport061205.php "Secondary = F. The self-proclaimed "best cornerback in the NFL," Nate Clements, was burnt to a crisp in this game. With the team up 21-0, Clements dropped an easy interception that would have led to a sure touchdown return for him. Instead, he allowed Dolphins receiver Chris Chambers to catch 15 passes for 238 yards and the game-winning touchdown"
  19. Timmeeyyy: Timmy, Timmy, Timmeeyyy!
  20. Maybe, however he would then be a five year veteran who can't play SS, and would have to be brought in for special teams only I would think.
  21. It's been a few years, however I have seen it enforced. Quiets the crowd real quick!
  22. Wire sucks. Deal with it. You really think he will play for another NFL team after Buffalo drops him?
  23. Apparently not. The technology you speak of, TV: been around a while. Are they actually launching the satellites?
  24. Teague and Williams are the only two guys on the O-line for that tenure.
  25. Sure glad we got TD in here to draft a RT at # 4!
