  1. San Diego is going to bring it. Running and passing, and I don't think there is an answer to Gates.
  2. D.J. is going to have to start winning some games against decent teams: he can't just rely on beating up the Dolphins and the Jets of the NFL every year, any more. Also, must show he can win some close games instead of producing devastating losses.
  3. True. True. True. True. Q: Do you think all these elements will be enough for Buffalo to have a good change to beat Seattle. Q: Are you also concerned that a loss to Seattle and probably J'ville will be a problem for Buffalo, to overcome and STILL make the playoffs assuming a 10-6 record is a given. Buffalo does seem to start slow.
  4. What does Williams bring to the table? This was a rather poor defensive line last year. You act like Williams was some sort of stud or machine or something. Shake yourself.
  5. Looking at the schedule again, this game just keeps attracting my attention. Buffalo generally doesn't start well. 1. Seattle had one of the better D's in football lest year, like # 6 in points / game: Problem for Buffalo, big problem. 2. Seattle was ranked # 9 in points/ game. 3. Don't expect a Buffalo team with new OC and first time starting QB to be clicking just yet. 4. Have to give coaching advantage to Seattle as well. I really think this may be a "must win" for Buffalo, as starting out 2 - 3 will be a death sentence for this team in the AFC, IMO.
  6. Since when did D-line backups start getting like $ 3 Mil. per year? That sounds like an awful lot of money.
  7. I don't see a problem with that. Probably would have been a "C" if not for drafting McLovin', and might be a B + going into next year after we see if he can play, and James also.
  8. ====================== QUOTE (Rico @ Jul 1 2008, 12:02 PM) Absolute WORST role model for a rookie QB. I believe JP picked up many of Drew's bad habits that first year. Like being terrible at short and intermediate passes? ====================== Hey dumbass, read the post again. I was comparing J.P. to Bledsoe, and picking up bad habits. As far as J.P. short game, well, I guess management wasn't too impressed: because he was replaced by a rookie. 1. Get a life. 2. Stop with the name calling. 3. Grow up. 4. And oh yeah: get back on your med's.
  9. OUCH! Let's keep J.P. around for a while.
  10. Nothing against J.P., but this guy looks like a sack/turnover machine statistically. Career: 31 TDs 29 INT's 88 Sacks (that's about 10 : 1, attempts/sack. RJ was like 7 : 1) That's pretty bad. 23 Fumbles If nothing else, as a rookie T.E. at least seemed to protect the ball better. http://www.nfl.com/players/j.p.losman/profile?id=LOS588329
  11. Or, it could be that Romo threw 5 interceptions and Buffalo also returned a kick for 103 yards? Buffalo had 14 first downs, and Dallas had 24. You're right, Buffalo thoroughly outcoached Dallas. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/boxscore?gam...7&week=REG5
  12. That's Camp Pendleton. Federal land.
  13. You're right, it's not fair. Every time I think about that game, it just drives me nuts. Buffalo did get out-coached.
  14. The same Wade Phillips who also has never won a playoff game?
  15. That kid is SICK!!! GET HIM!!!
  16. When your head coach (coaching staff) is getting out-coached by Wade Phillips, it may be time to look elsewhere.
  17. Like being terrible at short and intermediate passes?
  18. Are you talking about Rob Johnson or Losman? RJ = JP
  19. I have a very hard time believing D-coordinators are staying up at night designing blocking schemes to stop Schobel. The several games I did watch, didn't see him getting double teamed. Also, 2006 ended up being a contract year for him. He seems to me like an average player on a below average line. Triplett was just as bad in '06 as '07.
  20. Wow. Talk about "clone on clone crime". You win Beat-Down Of The Week.
  21. Bingo! Not to make this an Ole Whitey comment, but look how many Donahoe drafted players will be starting this year after McLovin and Hardy make the starting lineup. Like six (6) I think. That's actually pretty startling when you think about it. To me anyhow.
  22. Yeah, and most of the exprts said they were doomed when they took Mario Williams instead of Reggie Bush.
  23. I'd seen and read some things saying they were going to be good, an up and comer, they seem to have their QB issue handled, and they went 8-8 in the AFCS last year. That was probably the best division in football.
