  1. I do. TBD already noted that Schouman was getting first team snaps and moved him to # 1 on the depth chart.
  2. Jabari was good but he didn't become really good until he was handed the starting job due to injuries. I think he'll start a few games and then hand over the starting job to McKelvin. It's a joke. He was possibly the worst corner ever.
  3. I was always a huge Chris Watson fan.
  4. Yes.
  5. Is this DOG on CAT crime?
  6. Compare Losman's INT/SACK/FUMBLE totals per attempt with Edwards'. The "badness" ratio I call it. Losman is an accident waiting to happen. That isn't "chroise" or anything else: it's bad football. NOTE *** Value added POST! FYI: For all you fans of the "chroise": http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=c...art=10&sa=N
  7. Re: Evans: I'm not able to see many of the games, and listen on the internet and also follow on NFL.com. I also recall wondering if Evans was in the game or not, seemingly going entire quarters without being mentioned many games. Re: Edwards: There is that. I imagine they'll need to get Chambers some help.
  8. Speaking of film, was there ever any real confirmation that opposing D's had figured out Edwards was telegraphing plays by some motion prior to the snap? Was that an urban myth, or was that actually happening?
  9. I know Peters is great, but how much difference did he really make last year for the offense as a whole. Buffalo was 31'st in the NFL with him. How much worse will they be without him: we may find out. I hope not.
  10. I would have to agree. Need to see some more of and from Evans: also needs to show up more consistently.
  11. POISE = Less sacks and less fumbles. J.P. actually regressed his 4th year, and was worse his 2nd year than T.E. was his first. Your statements carry little weight, and are factually incorrect. http://www.nfl.com/players/j.p.losman/profile?id=LOS588329 http://www.nfl.com/players/trentedwards/profile?id=EDW720778
  12. Thats the first time I recall anybody on this board actually stating that correctly. I saw an interview with Walsh where he layed it out just like that and even gave a little demo of the QB setting up and the proceeding to shift through the different triangles or quadrants.
  13. The thinly veiled responses of a J.P. homer are apparent also.
  14. Again, I think the real issue is the coaching staff saw J.P. for a full season, were underimpressed, drafted a 3rd rounder who stepped in when J.P. went down, and did just enough (as a rookie) to warrent the starting job. Regarding poise, there is a "badness" indicator I made up in the past, and J.P.'s badness value is almost twice as high as that of Trents. A high value is bad.
  15. I think it may be more of a comparison of Edwards, with Losman, who was seen as erratic. Every time Losman would drop back to pass, I would freeze, grit my teeth and hope.
  16. It's sad when an optimist view includes thinking the coach will be fired for the team to move on. Not saying you're wrong. I think Jauron may realize, that the team needs to score some points and adjust his style of ultra-conservative, field posiion, don't turn the ball over, let the defense keep you in the game football, try not to lose, football. If you scoer some points, you just may put some preasure on the other to step it up and take some chances.
  17. Maybe he's talkin' about walkin' the walk.
  18. I noticed that "Drizzy" was new to the Wall, and just giving a heads up. It's probably not that bad, although I do notice I get flamed a lot less when posting something positive, than negative.
  19. Thanks. When you post something here, you take a chance of posting something already up, and also the rath of fellow TBD'ers. Seemed like a good read to me. Not spinning anything one way of the other.
  20. I can't really find anything to disagree with, and article seems about correct. Bills maybe one more year away from making some real noise IMO. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/teams/report/BUF/10894688
  21. Precisely. How much worse could it have been. Well, yeah. WITH Peters and Evans in there, Evans had approx. six games with 2 or catches. Not exactly lighting it up. Having a Pro Bowl left tackle is great I guess, having a Pro Bowl QB or offensive coordinator would be better.
  22. So, the offense that ranked like 31'st last season with Peters going to the Pro Bowl is going to fall how far without him?
  23. I am hopeful for Trent, as J.P. doesn't have "it" IMO. Apparently the front office wasn't sold on Losman either after seeing him play a full season, and drafted a well regarded Edwards. Getting a nod from Walsh was a good sign also. The '07 season seemed to show a rookie Edwards was at least no worse than a veteran, Losman.
  24. Maybe Fouts "lite". Great taste, and less filling?
