  1. Is Flutie able to come in on 3rd & 30, in case our oline gets called for holding on 1st & 2nd down?
  2. You know there's an abundance of optimism when hardcore fans are calling for Tebow before the season begins. Can I get a hallelujah? I said can I get a HALLELUJAH!
  3. If you run that offense you might as well get Tebow to play QB.
  4. Yeah a few ideas; water for beer, $.10 for a wing, and $10 for a lap dance.
  5. Tim Treebow, was a madden player (college) you could scout in madden 10 or 11.
  6. Buffalo: "there's always (the year AFTER) next season!!!!?
  7. I'd rather listen to Nickelback than listen to Doug "Obviously" Moron, umm Marrone.
  8. You guys heard the latest? It appears Jon Bon is partnering with former Disney stars. Yes that's right Lindsay Lohan, Miley Cyrus, Amanda Bynes, and the Olsen twins. BJ is quite a schemer.
  9. is mary wilson behind the dumpster fire that is the 2014 Buffalo Bills?
  10. did bon jovi already acquire the team? it appears the players are revolting against new management.
  11. I missed the whole IN joke, but I've been thinking the same thing in regards to carrying 2. It's clear Tuel is nothing more than a 3rd option going forward. I'd only carry 2.
  12. Jerry Rice tore his ACL in a game 8-31-1997 week 1. He suited up and played a game week 16 12-15-1997 Monday Night Football vs the Broncos. That is a 108 day layoff between games. The fastest recovery time in NFL history. Rice caught a TD and landed directly on his knee cap / patella & it fractured. The knee cap broke likely because a graft of his patella was used to replace his ACL. The graft leaves a tiny hole in the knee cap which increases the likelihood it will brake due to blunt force trauma. I believe Dr James Andrews performed Kiko's ACL surgery. I also believe Dr. Andrews preferred ACL repair method is using a patella graft. I wouldn't recommend Kiko coming back but it's possible he could. He would likely need to wear a specialty brace that has padding over the patella. By the way Kiko had surgery 7/18/2014 he was injured 7/1/2014. If he were to have a Jerry Rice like recovery (108 days) that would put Kiko back 11/3/2014.
  13. I pulled the top 20 stats and I beg to differ the difference is as vast as you proclaim. The season passing yards are 3228.2 for 1986 versus 3976.8 for 2013 a difference of 748.6 yards. Take into account the QBs were less protected and took more hits, and the main difference can be attributed to the average QB in 1986 playing 14.7 games vs 15.6 games in 2013. Also the Games Started is 14.1 to 15.5. Getting to play an extra 1.5 games can further explain this statiscal difference. Have yards gone up? Marginally. Has the game changed? No. Clearly the numbers show the difference is much less than some on TBD would like to admit. This is not like comparing 1986 to 1959. The modern vertical NFL pass offense came about in the mid to late 1970s and guys like Dan Fouts really revolutionized the game. Top 20 QBs 1986 Games 14.7, Games Started 14.1, 254.4 completions, 447.0 attempts, 56.9% completion %, 3,228.2 yards, 18.3 tds, 16.6 ints, sacked 33.4 times, 254.9 yards Top 20 QBs 2013 Games 15.6, Games Started 15.5, 347.8 completions, 558.3 attempts, 62.3% completion %, 3,976.8 yards, 25.7 tds, 14.9 ints, sacked 37.9 times, 259.2 yards
  14. ' Precisely. I wonder how much patience our fanbase has left. It took Kelly 3 years to get into the playoffs. Can our fanbase handle another developmental year? There's no doubt that EJ will be better at age 24 than 23, and 25 than 24. It will take time for a guy with his skillset to develop. He's raw, but has the arm strength, maturity and work ethic to succeed. His skills and ability are higher than anyone since Kelly retired.
  15. No these are all regular season stats.
  16. 2 rushing tds last year. I think he's going to have 5 this year.
  17. Colts punter i believe.
  18. Trent Edwards: 5 wins 5 losses, 151/269 56.13%, 1630 yds, 7 tds, 8 ints, 14 rushes 49 yards 0 tds.
  19. For all you EJ doubters, he's closer to Kelly thru 10 games, than Losman.
  20. JP: 2 wins 8 losses, 128/211, 51.00%, 1504 yards, 8 tds, 8 ints, 32 rushes 154 yards 0 tds.
  21. I was curious how much better Kelly's 10 games were vs EJs. Jim Kelly: Age 26 - 3 wins 7 losses, 174/284 61.27%, 2200 yards, 13 tds, 12 ints, 27 rushes 126 yards 0 tds EJ Manuel: Age 23 - 4 wins 6 losses, 180/306 58.82%, 1972 yards, 11 tds, 9 ints, 53 rushes 186 yards 2 tds
  22. we could have taken Fitz's cap hit in 2013, instead we rolled over some to 2014. In the end it was a dumb move. looking ahead we only have $1.6 in 2015.
  23. Dude you'd be smart to pay for the all 22. WTF cares if you watch a game after you know the result? I for one would rather view a game subjectively than have my heart torn from chest for a 15th consecutive season sans playoffs. Nate Hackett & for that matter Doug Marrone seem akin to a bunch of monkeys tripping on acid calling in plays.
  24. Did you order the code red?
  25. season over see cya in 2015....er 2016. thanks cleveland!
