  1. MCL is hardly a career ending injury. Fred needs to go to the Don Joy knee brace on his right knee. It worked for Thurman his whole career. No doubt Dirty 30's week 1 hit made Jackson's knee more suspectible to re injury.
  2. One could make the argument that Gailey's conservative play calling is preventing us form winning. Look at our first 3 quarters and our last quarter. Heck Gailey trusts so little in Spiller that he gives him the ball one-time in the 4th quarter. At this conjuncture I'd be happy firing Gailey and hiring a new coach and allowing him to draft the best QB available & letting them compete for the job. Do I believe Fitz is the long-term answer? No. Do I believe Gailey is more culpable than Fitz? Yes.
  3. Sullivan might be a non-partisan from New England, but he usually is correct in his criticism. I argued with him that Spiller was a home-run threat when we drafted him - give him daylight & he can take it to the house every time. The problem I have with Chan Gailey is his indecisiveness in win or loss moments. Gailey is losing the confidence of the veterans in the locker room. Lindell's hand clap and scream to the football gods was evident to his lack of respect for Gailey's decision making ability. Steve Johnson has already called into question Gailey's play calling decisions. CJ Spiller side-stepped the question of his under utilization like he does to most one-on-one defenders. At this point I'm open to any and all coaching ideas. A young guy I like who won coach of the year is Raheem Morris. Say what you want about his .354 winning percentage the guy did get a great year out of an average team. Chan Gailey has yet to show he can go .500 with an average team. Heck bring back Perry Fewell - at least he takes chances.
  4. Parity just allows a team with a franchise QB the opportunity to win the game in the 4th Qtr. Closer games means more drama, more eyeballs, more ad revenue.
  5. Or the 4th Qtr. 1 Spiller touch!
  6. This is a team that took Spiller 10th overall & now in his 3rd year insist on running him 6 times 7 total touches. Fitz sucks, I'm done with him.
  7. A terrible move. Shoulda kept him, & Jackson NEVER drafted Spiller. Christ we only gave it to him 7 times in a win or go home game.
  8. If only one of us had a Delorian, Plutonium, and a Flux Capacitor we could go back in time and get a couple of our good players & coaches.
  9. Good post. Question is who decides on his replacement? Brandon, Littman, "Ralph Jr.", or the hot dog stand Delaware North employee?
  10. I saw that too. Gailey is terrible.
  11. If George Wilson could catch we'd probably be singing a different tune. If Fred Jackson had not fumbled. If Gilmore's pick was not called back. I don't know why we always seem to come up a few plays short. I guess our QB is not good enough, and our coach is too conservative.
  12. We are not going to the playoffs. Fire Chan, and maybe we'll make it. If we keep that conservative as our coach we are doomed.
  13. The block in the back on the Gilmore pick was a joke. Hate to blame a game on the officials but take that away and it's 10-0 Bills.
  14. New Coach & a NEW Franchise QB. I'll worry about the rest after this is addressed.
  15. Chan should be fired before he leaves the building. He lost this game.
  16. Don't hold your breath but Pittsburgh is down 13-0, Indy 20-7, and Cincy is in a dog fight with Dallas up 13-10.
  17. Our right side of our line has produced 0 rushing touchdowns all season. 7 to the left, 2 in the middle. We need a real right tackle. Urbik can only do so much. I think these guys might be decent. I'd love to eat crow and see us run for 5 touchdowns to the right.
  18. Cut Fitzpatrick save money. Let go of Barnett & send McGee & Merriman packing. If Pears is signed cut him. Hairston is a fine backup at T, but he has not shown be much in getting good push on the rush. I'd like the Bills to draft an interior lineman, preferably a Center. Why not get Jake Long? Have you seen the weather we play in 4-6 games a year? We need the best lines on both sides of the ball. I think like we purchased Mario, we should do the same with our offensive line. Letting go of our veterans who are bad, and drafting a quality Dalton type QB would do wonders to upgrade our team in 2013.
  19. I voted NO. But here is what I like: Toughness, Competitiveness, Arm Strength, Pocket Awareness. Here is what I don't like: Ackward sidearm throwing motion leaves ball exposed for fumbling, Locks on to primary read, Forces too many throws, Requires a great line like Bledsoe, Has never won AFC (Big Game when team was stacked 06, 07, 08, Age turns 31 this month.
  20. Weather will need to be a factor. If it rains or snows we win. If its windy we win. If it is minimal wind below 10mph & no precipitation I think we lose. Bills 23 Rams 14
  21. Our left side LT, LG, & C are good. I even think RG is good with Urbik, however I think our RT needs to be upgraded. As I posted earlier this week we have 0 tds running to our right, & our yards per carry is grossly below our left. If we were lucky enough to resign Levitre & were ablr to get Jake Long in FA we will be undoubtedly the top OLine. That said Byrd & Levitre before Long IMO.
  22. How do pro athletes get blitz faced & fail to have a DD or taxi? Its ridiculous.
  23. If Rivers was on any of the playoff contenders they'd be worse off at QB. Rivers from what I've seen the past few seasons has been exposed - he can't avoid the rush, & his fumbles & ints in the 4th qtr have become routine. This guy is not clutch.
  24. The forearm or knee to the back of the head to a defenseless player is a joke. Where's the $50k fine?
  25. Todays Elite QBs born in the 1980s #1 Aaron Rodgers (career 5-2 playoff record) #2 Eli Manning (career 8-3 playoff record) #3 Ben Roethlusberger (career 10-4 playoff record) Fading Elite born in the 1970s #1 Peyton Manning (2-4 in last 6 playoff games) #2 Drew Brees (1-2 in last 3 playoff games) #3 Tom Brady (6-6 in last 12 playoff games after starting 10-0) Rising Elite born after 1985 #1 Matt Ryan (0 playoff wins) #2 Andrew Luck (plays clutch in 4th qtr) #3 RGIII (most athletic QB since Vick with better smarts, arm, & vision) In all honesty the greatest factor here is: ability & skill. 7 of 9 are 1st round draft picks, Drew Brees early 2nd round & the lone outlier being Brady. Given Spygate, the front office, resources, coaching & the fact Matt Cassel looked Bradyesque in '08 could Brady's success be more about New England than the player?
