I don't like the idea of paying QB type money to a CB with a busted knee who will be 28 by the start of football season.

I hate Mr. O & all of DC. You love DC so much you put it in your damn avatar. You can't survive without being able to suck off the government tit that is DC. How much social security, Medicare does your old butt need? Get a job as a Walmart greeter or go to the old folks home old man. Brawndo...isn't that Mike Judge's crop feeder in the movie Idiocracy? -

I am only in favor of free markets with no government interference. As for government I am in favor of direct democracy where majority rules. Our government is broken and serves the interests of the well connected either rich or poor. I believe in government to the extent that it is controlled by we the people. As Jefferson said & advocated its is our duty to overthrow a tyrannical government. Do you choose live in denial or are you a masochist? -

James Madison "government ought to be so consituted as to protect the minority of the opulent against the majority." John Jay "those who own the country ought to govern it." I want to take the power away from those who seek to crush the majority and who only govern to protect their self-interest. The Democratic & Republican party have failed miserably. -

I am advocating from a free market anti-statism position. To quote Henry David Thoreau "That government is best which governs not at all." In Switzerland were we see forms of direct democracy what do we see? They have a strong currency and as a result they are penalizing outside investors with negative interest rates to hold their money in swiss francs. -

Or we can allow the 6 million U.S. prisoners to play games online like the Chinese prisoners do. I am advocating the free market in politics, survival of the fittest ideas. The american population is center right on nearly every issue: gun control, defense spending, social issues, abortion, entitlement reform, etc. Over time that will lead to outcome's in our favor. -

We aren't going to be paying ourselves. Creating a fully automated branch could also open the door for the private sector like Diebold to develop the technology. I don't see why if this could be used to eventually rid ourselves of the Senate, House or both. Technology has automated the private sector, it's time to downsize the bloated pig that is the U.S. govt. -

Why Does DHS Need 1.6 Billion Rounds of Ammo?
Dean Cain replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Agreed. The last time I check we live in a police state where private companies run prisons where they are guaranteed by the government that they will have 90% occupancy. Meanwhile cops who have too high an IQ, ie those who would dare to ask questions, are legally exempt from hiring. Soon drones will be flying over our homes invading our privacy and threatening our democracy. So is life in Obama's America. -
All these guys do nothing for us long term. Adding them defies the logic of dumping Barnett, McGee, & hopefully Kelsay. Let the youth movement begin.

No joke. As a Libertarian I'm in favor of creating a 4th branch of Government constituted of "we the people" where every citizen will be given the opportunity to vote on every bill giving us the ability to veto or approve any piece of legislation like Obamacare. You can do this by mail on ballot, or via a protected web intranet ballot. Out democracy lacks a system of checks and balances and that leads to a corruption of our government. The judicial, executive & legislative are not accountable. -

This is why we need to move to mail in voting. I am tired of corrupt election workers rigging votes. One mail in ballot, one vote. -

Good insights from Harry Dent Jr. former Bain & Company adviser and investment manager. Dent developed a theory of generational booms & busts and has applied this to a macro economic model he uses to develop investment strategies. Why the hell wasn't Romney not advocating Dent Jr's policies? Give the video 5 minutes, and the whole 54 minutes if you have time. Key points: The best investment: invest in t-bills & cd's in short term next 2-3 years Don't put money in big banks: put money in community banks, and safe investment accounts banks can't lend against Short commodities; gold, silver, oil, municipal bonds The bond market is more powerful than Federal Reserve, Greece govt borrowing rates went from 4% to 30% overnight The government is inflating (QE) to stop deflation as private sector delever's debt As debt is delevered people need to sell assets, and they do this not in commodities but in cash Boom's debase the dollar, federal reserve printing mearly is providing liquidity to allow bad debt to be sold We are going to crash, it's not going to be inflation it's going to be deflation In 2008 we had 57 trillion in private & government debt: 42 trillion private debt, 10 trillion federal, 2 trillion local govt, 3 trillion state govt It is the 42 trillion in private debt that is decelerating due to baby boomers exiting workforce This 42 trillion is likely to deleverage down to 20 trillion, thus resulting in elimination of 22 trillion over the next 10-20 years. Over the next 10 years the Government will inflate 10 trillion, which won't stop 22 trillion of private sector deleveraging Have government write down debt: only let the best financially healthy banks stay alive unlike 1930s & 1870s economic crisis the Federal Reserve is not allowing debt default's mainly of overleveraged banks in 2000 beginning average U.S. household could borrow 3.3 times their income, by top of bubble 2006 9.6 times their income betweem 2000 & 2008 U.S. private debt went from 20 trillion to 42 trillion government debt went from 5 to 10 trillion, will go to 22 trillion in next 10 years http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=xzqsdpgRRgE&feature=endscreen

"A fourteen year-old girl jumped out of the closet and shouted 'Boo' when her parents came home in the middle of the night. Taking her for an intruder, her father shot and killed her. Her last words were 'I love you, Daddy.' " http://www.cnn.com/2013/02/18/opinion/frum-obama-plan-b-on-guns/index.html?c=politics&page=2 Good article by former Bush adviser who coined the term "axis of evil", but I still am not giving up my guns.
