I can't see a situation where they wouldn't want a veteran QB around in case Manuel were to go down. Just the value of having a veteran to coach up Manuel is invaluable at this early stage of his career.

Mike Rodak..ESPN BB blogger downplays BB defense
Dean Cain replied to Kemp2Warlick's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still don't understand why teams don't think we won't be blitzing, that's our defense, prepare for it. -
Add my boy Scorin Dorin as TE / ST & we got 53.

Browns owner may be $4,000,000,000 in debt
Dean Cain replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Whether this company is public or private its totally legit to issue this debt. I think where fraud comes into play was what was this debt being issued for? Expanding capacity, upgrading infrastructure, or paying the executives 2 billion. Usually you need to sell equity in a company to "cash" out. Taking on debt is the route only private equity, leveraged buyout artists can take when acquiring a company. This coupled with not paying businesses their fuel rebates timely wreaks of a ponzi like scheme. -
Best Player on 2013 Buffalo Bills Roster
Dean Cain replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
EJ, if for the only reason that every veteran that was a Bill last season went 6-10. If EJ goes 7-9 it's proof he is our best player by de-facto W/L record. -
Is Jim Kelly ill ?? (update - has cancer)
Dean Cain replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jim, I want you to beat down cancer like you used to beat down cornerbacks after throwing a pick. -
Wow, now that's a classy statement. I personally love Green Bay, small city, fan-owned, grass field, old school stadium, cold weather, great fanbase, what's not to like? Take the worst mannered fraternity in every college campus, graduation rate of 35%, age 20-30 years, wala Bills fan served!

I've been to the new Browns stadium it's pretty good for a grass field, and has subterranean heating to keep the surface at 65 to prevent frost.

Brandon promised the creation of a ROBUST analytical dept that would be layered in. Those were his words. And so far Brandon has stated that they are using it in their strength & conditioning, and will eventually incorporate it to their salary cap management - who will be the one administrating this remains to be seen. If you watched the presser like I did you noticed two things: Brandon is a believable talker, and Whaley appears to be a traditional GM. I don't think Whaley is the big-idea guy, he even admitted that he will need to learn more about the salary cap. Overdorf is the number guy & has been for years - I dunno the extent to his involvement or Brandon's in resigning of players. Is it the GMs decision or is it Brandon's? The modern NFL has many dual role coach / GMs. Did the Bills really make a sweeping progressive change? The Bills appear to be at the Donahue / Mularkey intersection with the hiring of Whaley / Marrone. I can't tell the difference.

Suppose we developed a tool that accurately predicts run vs pass play selection that is 95% accurate. Think Russ would be interested in that? Or is he simply just marketing when he says we'll embrace analytics. The facts are the Bills are 5 years behind the majority of franchises & 10 years behind New England.

Hey Dante, check out NCH software Express Invoice. My wife & I started a biz 2 years ago and recently switched to Quickbooks for payroll reasons. Also a bit off topic but check out Google Apps For Business to host your email, they also have plug in CRM: Pipeline. For a bigger teleco presence check out ring central's hosted VoIP which can make your biz more professional: vanity #, 800 number, extension creation. For website 1and1 is the best & most robust for small business. Develop a YouTube video channel & link to your website. Vistaprint is the bomb for cheap quality biz cards. They also sell a lot of the goodies you could use in your marketing. Good luck!

I stopped watching American Idol by the 3rd episode in season 1. Simon Cowell mocking out losers was hilarious.

Fly down to my town; Charleston, SC & leave from here. -
Here is my plan on how we as Bills fans could come together to keep the Bills in Buffalo. Quite simple, it would be a reverse of the Bills Bonds plan. It requires the power of social media, expert planning, logistics, and above-all compliance via legal contract among all participants. Create a 501c3 non-profit entity. Call it Buffalo Bills NY Forever, Bills Mafia, or whatever. Elect a beneficiary - Jim Kelly comes to mind. Also stipulate in contract that the lucky person who picks winning number would receive $50,000,000 , aka incentive. Open membership to all 432,611 Facebook Bills fans via Facebook campaign. A minimum of 150,000 fans would be needed based on limitations of time, fatigue, logistics. Generate a Powerball lottery matrix. The matrix would include instructions for all Bills fans to play a specific combination of numbers. Matrix would be traced to user to ensure compliance. Wait for the next big jackpot, $600 million or more. When the time comes distribute the money via PayPal to all 150,000 Bills fans participating. Here's the math: Fact: there are 432,611 Bills "fans" on Facebook. Assume 150,000 fans participate. Fact: to win the Powerball jackpot one must purchase 175,223,510 different number combinations. Fact: 1,169 tickets per person must be played costing the Bills fan $2,338.00 each. Fact: Assume 2 minutes per ticket printed, 2,338 minutes total or 38 hours 58 minutes per person. Roughly 10 hours needed per day Sunday-Wednesday. With $550,000,000 more Benjamin's Jim Kelly would have enough money after taxes to acquire the minimum 30% to suffice the owners equity rule. And one lucky guy out of 150,000 would be $50,000,000 richer. Let's get working on this. Thoughts?

Mario Williams #72 on the NFL top 100
Dean Cain replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mario is top 50 IMO. Pierre-Paul, Jarred Allen, Julius Peppers, & Aldon Smith are the only DEs that are better. -
Great analysis of Jairus Byrd's worth by Spotrac.com
Dean Cain replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The 9 million figure avg over 5 years with over 19 guaranteed seems high, but when comparing Byrd to the other safeties at his level who signed similar deals it makes perfect sense. Isn't this why the NFL & players union cut rookie wages, to pay deserving veterans commensurate their actual value?
