  1. Here's how I see it, Bills 23 Patriots 17. I like our defense & I think we score a defensive TD & get a long return setting up a short EJ Manuel led TD drive. EJ won't throw the critical pick in the 4th that plagued Bledsoe & Fitz. EJ throws it away & we get a FG. And our defense sack strips Brady as he's conducting a 2 minute come from behind attempt.
  2. I'm with the Giants & Ravens who know how to make the Patriots look ordinary on offense. It isn't the blitz as much as the ability to collapse the pocket into Brady's face. Brady doesn't like working in a confined space and if guys like Carrington, M. Williams, Dareus, K. Williams can push the New England lineman back into Brady's feet it limits his ability. Brady doesn't have the arm to throw off his back foot nor the mobility to beat you with his feet. Brady needs his feet especially a strong plant foot to be accurate. If the pocket is collapsed Brady struggles as any QB would.
  3. The rise of the TE position is reasons why the Bills have so many safeties on their active roster. Many of Pettine's defensive sets include 3 safeties on the field at any given time.
  4. We should sign Leonard Cohen.
  5. Pin this on our Analytics Dept.
  6. Why don't we commission Aaron Maybin so he can give back some money he ain't earned. +1
  7. PF is a bad condition mainly caused by going from a sedentary lifestyle to active. I couldn't think Byrd has gotten to the point where degenerative tissue damage has set in, but that is what PF is. Tens of tiny microscopic tears in the PF tendon. If untreated eventually the plantar fascia snaps. Pau Gasol had this injury a couple of years ago. It usually takes 6-8 weeks to comeback after a complete rupture. No surgery is needed, unless there is an underlying bone spur causing the PF. Gasol was out of game action Feb 5th to March 22nd. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/2635871
  8. Same injury that he incurred in 2010. Hit from the outside of left leg bent inwards which is likely an MCL sprain grade 1-3. http://m.fantasysp.com/player/1244270/nfl/
  9. Gill's been in the NFL I assume even the Liberty HC job pays more than a position coach in the NFL, so no.
  10. Marrone went: 4-8 8-5 5-7 8-5 Turner: 2-10 5-7 8-6 5-7 Both took over some terrible programs and started in pretty tough spots. If Marrone fizzles out in Buffalo does that make him earn him the label as a coach who had "2 good seasons"?
  11. Serious bro? A guy who did a near Marrone at UB. You must not be too keen on our new coach.
  12. The biggest public university in Ohio is killing the largest public university from New York. UB's coach is 9-27 in his first 3 seasons. What a stark difference from Gil Turner.
  13. The Bulls are getting killed in their secondary. Sounds familiar.
  14. Carrington, and Byrd at the end season's end would be good.
  15. I'd take a flier on Routt. Chiefs over paid him a 3 year 18 million contract in the 2011 offseason. You don't pay someone that kind of money to be average. We can afford to pay him $850k to be average. Call him up.
  16. Brody Jenner & Spencer Pratt are happy to get their "brah" back.
  17. I thought he got sacked by a rubber mat then he was injured in warmups head butting a field goal post.
  18. Key point of the presser came when describing he had a "responsibility to play guys & figure out what they're about & report back to Doug Whaley & Russ". Having said that, one has to wonder if Marrone takes a different approach with guys like Gilmore, & Spiller next preseason.
  19. The media from Sal Capaccio to guys inside the organization like Chris Brown & John Murphy seem to be way too gung-ho when it comes to Hogan. Easley earned the #5 role.
  20. Wasn't Kolb hurt the entire preseason?
  21. It will be interesting to see if Hackett's friendship means Lewis is the odd man out. Bills should PUP reserve list Kolb, cut Leinart and 3rd string Lewis for now.
  22. You have to wonder if this injury is more mental than physical.
