Why would a team be willing to trade for Byrd since he's on a 1 year contract, effectively he may be able to play 14 games assuming he's "faking" his current injury. If not would a team be willing to risk a draft pick for a 1 yr rental?

Wilfork & Brady don't repsect our team because we haven't earned it. Going 3-24 vs them since Belicheat took over hasn't helped.

Steve Johnson may be the most unorthodox route runner in the NFL, but this is what makes him good. Having said that, EJ and Stevie should be trying to develop the Welker/Amendola bond that Brady almost effortlessly seems to have. EJ & Stevie need to keep on developing the "trust" that was repeated throughout the New England game when talking about Brady & his new receivers.

Instead he should have said, we have the best QB in the NFL. We won't win many games with conservative play calling. We intend to put the ball in our franchise QBs hands. Read option incorporates the one element you can't teach a QB - speed. You need not only a good passer, but someone who can make the quick decision to run it himself. The read option is here to stay until defenses find personnel groupings to slow it.

This reminds me, New England doesn't have the personnel to score quickly.
