  1. Our retention rate of top talent has been a major contributing factor to our 13 year playoff drought. To think the Bills weren't entertaining trade offers for Byrd the past 5 weeks is pretty comical. I think the Bills are just leaking this along with the PF recovery to drive up the value.
  2. I will be traveling today & jacked up on Red Bull. I will be happy to come home before midnight & still catch Oak vs SD
  3. Read that. My question is who better positioned to land him? Jacksonville is the only team that comes to mind. But we offer a better team, organization.
  4. I heard Sean Landetta is still fresh.
  5. Freeman can start next games & likely 4-5 more after that with EJ out. No other team can offer Freeman an immediate chance to start.
  6. There are no moral victories in football. We have to win. Losing sucks.
  7. Never will happen. We are a doormat for 3 large market teams.
  8. EJ is handcuffed by Marrone's offense. Would we feel better if he was throwing it 45 times a game? I dunno. What I do know is EJ appears to be injury prone, and those injuries occur on scrambles.
  9. It's pointless to guess where we finish. We could go. 13-3, or 2-14.
  10. My sentiments echo the subconscious of many a Bills fan. You want to win, & find yourself disappointed but not surprised when the franchise loses. This is a franchise that has had 21 winning seasons in 53 seasons. There's been a lot of losing. This 2013 Bills team is performing around what we've expected going into this season & what they've done historically. Good teams / franchises find ways to win ball games. The Bills have shown signs of competency, but the young group so far hasn't appeared to be up for the challenge in 2013 to end our playoff drought. Good teams, wild-card playoff teams win 3 to 5 road games a year. The Bills are 0-2 so far with road games to go at: NE, MIA, NO. Not mention a neutral field game at ATL. If this team finds a way to 8 wins they have outperformed expectations.
  11. I used to dominate Punch Out. I had friends invite me over to their house to beat Tyson. PS the password to get to Tyson was 007-373-5963.
  12. The Bills learned its hard to win in the NFL . Especially on the road.
  13. Nelson should be warned, Geno "Wild Thing" Smith, is good at getting his WRs injured.
  14. WR screens, reverses & 21 personnel & lots of Choice . This is a North South game where you need to feed the ball 20-25 times to Choice. Don't turn the ball over & continue to play uptempo. On short rest the Browns will get tired if EJ is accurate & decisive.
  15. Over our last 12 games, the Bills will have 91 days off between games, whereas our opponents will have 108 days. We will play 6 games where we will be on the same rest as our opponents. We will have 2 games where we will have more rest than our opponents. We will get 3 extra days to prep for the Bengals, & 4 days to prep for the Falcons after our bye. Ironically Atlanta plays a Thursday night game so they'll get an extra 3 days of rest, plus will have the added benefit of playing us on a neutral field in Toronto. There will be 4 games where our opponent will have more rest, at Miami (+7 days extra rest bye week), at Saints the following week (+7 days extra rest bye week), home against the Jets (+7 days extra rest bye week), at Jacksonville (+3 days extra rest Jags play Thursday night and get 10 days to prep for us). Rest & recovery is as important as preparation time. Chris Brown commented about this inequity around the time our schedule was released. I believe we've set some kind of consecutive seasons streak of having to play the highest number of games versus teams coming off their bye.
  16. because spiller is a human bulldozer.
  17. If this game is in Miami its a much closer game, that said I still think Brees has exposed the Dolphins. I think the formula is to spread them out, as they are built to dominate against the run. The Saints are a perfect matchup in that their passing game like New England's is an extension of the running game with big physical receivers and short to intermediate depth throws, built on timing, screens, picks, and exposing tendencies of the opposing defense.
  18. I'm happy that Fitz has a chance to start for a good team, and has Levitre laying the wood from LG.
  19. Look up Tannehill's stats, they don't jump off the paper. Watch him play, and he doesn't separate himself from EJ. All this hype I've been hearing must be a byproduct of the large media market he plays in. I think Tannehill is in the middle of the pack of NFL starters. No way this guy is in the top 10 of NFL QBs, and nothing in his first 19-1/2 games so far have shown me he is going to make a quantum leap forward. The guy was a rather old, 24 year old rookie last year. Now 25 years old its time for him to show us what he's got.
  20. If we find a way to beat the Browns we'll have 10 days to prepare for Bengals, while they play New England this Sunday. The extra prep & rest recoup time will be huge. If we are to make a run at the postseason the next 2 games are huge.
  21. Most RBs are retired at 32. Most players won't play hurt. Almost zero guys go back on to the field with a knee injury. Given Jackson's leg injury history its amazing he did. This guy is the epitmoe of leaving it all on the field, sacrificing body for team. If Jackson has one fault its not going down when he is stopped, now granted it's a double-edged sword, if Jackson didn't have that mentality you don't see that 59 yard 3rd & 1 conversion vs. the Jets. Go Bills!
  22. will Kiko surpass Byrd's 2009 rookie campaign interception total of 9?
  23. http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=9747219 Wow the Pats finally sustain a huge injury.
