No I'm saying Kyle Williams. If the pats have 7 men blocking, why on earth go with a normal front. 4-3 or 3-4? It's obvious they have a superior scheme. All I'm advocating is you need size to beat size. Ted Washington ate 2 blockers, as does a healthy Vince Wilfork. Watching the Bills run 4 man fronts versus 5 OL & 2 Blocking TE sets against Blount made me question the sanity of Pettine. Our LBs were getting directly hit on the 2nd level by huge TEs or OL. Put 3/4 DTs against that formation, maybe the old Bears defense. Houamananewi can't catch his own shadow, & the other TEs have stone hands. They are in there to block. Gotta bring out the big guys to battle them, force Brady to pass.

NO it comes down to scheme. Watch the Jets. They throw 3-4 DTs on the field at once. We put out an undersized Kyle Williams, and Dareus and expect to stop them. No sir. You need 3 or 4 big guys plus 2 ends to hold the edge. A 5 man line to eat up the Pats blockers. Then you need good LB play & a SS crashing down that can tackle.

That was terribly officiated. And surprise, surprise, all of the non-penalty calls were in the favor of the Patriots. Vellano's trip, a clear pull down of #93 on the Colts on a key 3rd down to keep the drive alive, a defensive PI that was BS. If I wasn't "in" on the game is fixed, I'd be drowning in a pool of my own vomit.

Obviously. Never seen a guy run that fast in an NFL jersey. The kid flies down the field. Hackett & Marrone should be calling this kids number every quarter on a deep pass.

The last 2 posters have been spot on. Marrone I may add, went 25-25 in college. Big deal. That sucks. So far, we see a .500 level college coach performing worse in the pros .333. It's almost as if Chan Gailey developed a NY accent & grew some hair. This team flat sucks right now.
