No dynasty the NBA equivalent of John Stockton & Karl Malone. They simply weren't better than any team they played in the SB outside of SB25. The Bills out-scored the Giants 32-30 in 1990. What could have lost it for us was our injuring Phil Simms in that December 1990 road game @ the NYG.

Did the Seahawks spy on the Broncos?

The Seahawks could have been run on. Unfortunately the Broncos never tried it. -
Who said Defense doesn't win Championships

Gilmore has long hair, McKelvin is long, Williams is rough, Byrd is All Pro. Don't see why our defense with a true run stuffing DT & another top level LB couldn't be stout. Still if our QB suffers an injury every 4 games we're dead. -

For those thinking $170m is chump change remember $80m is all it took for us to vacate home field advantage for 1 game per year. -

Wilson can evade pressure, almost making rushing him worthless. The best hope to contain Wilson is to collapse the pocket in his face while rushing 4. Overloading to his right & forcing him left is also a good option. Wilson completed 55% of his passes to the left boundary. By far his worst completion percentage. -
I went to Spotrac & Seattle has a long list of UFA's that could spell an end to their title defense hopes. UFAs: Michael Bennett, Golden Tate, Brandon Browner, Walter Thurmond, Tony McDaniel RFAs: Doug Baldwin And then there's Russell Wilson. Do the Seahawks really want to pay him $817,302 next year? He's under contract through 2015. I see him getting an offer this offseason as a goodwill gesture.

I'll rank the top 12 in the NFL Seattle #1 & San Francisco #2 were clearly the class of the NFL this year. Denver #3. Every team plays one terrible game per year. Nothing went Denver's way like SB 27 for the Bills. Yes they got spanked but consider their injuries. Losing Clady LT in preseason & Von Miller was huge. New England #4. Gronkowski, Mayo, Wilfork and a host of injuries did them in. Carolina #5. Newton has come a long way, and Rivera grew balls bigger than john clayton's bald spot this year. Plus the Carolina defense is the 3rd best in the NFL. Philadelphia #6. Chip Kelly was the rookie coach of the year. Nick Folk, Shady McCoy & Jackson are the best QB, RB, WR combo in football. Defense is a weakness. This team needs a safety. Many of their fans say that the Byrd goes together with Eagles like peanut butter & jelly. Indy #7. Andrew Luck has proven he has the skills to be a 4th qtr closer. Their defense still is their #1 weakness. They also need WR help because Reggie Wayne & Bills cast-off DaRick Rogers aren't the answer after TY Hilton. San Diego #8. New coach meant better results come playoff time. Rivers did a 180 with Frank Reich coaching him. Ran out of time in comeback attempt at Denver. New Orleans #9. Drew Brees won his first playoff road game in Philly & played Seattle close and had a chance to force OT. Their rush defense sucks. Arizona #10. Best team to not make the playoffs in 2013. Beat up Seattle on the road in December. Great WRs, & secondary. Green Bay #11. Battled 49ers in WC game in Lambeau. Couldn't contain Kaepernick's scrambling again. Cincy #12. Dalton gets a lot of hate from Cincy fans, but their LBs look slow compared to top NFL defenses. Honorable mention #13 KC. Got off to a 9-0 start but were exposed late for being marginal on defense. Went 2-5 in last 7 games.

Lynch is the beneficiary of being on a great team. Put Adrian Peterson on that Seattle team & I don't think Wilson would have needed to throw the ball yesterday. Lynch will be 28 this year, & in his 8th season. My take is Lynch like 95% of all other running backs will be out of the league by his 30th birthday. The one thing I'll say is when you have a player who disrespects your city with contempt then you get maximum value & send him packing. Could the Bills have done better for Lynch, maybe, but Pete Carroll & company are good at finding troubled players & "rehabilitating" them.

14 years without playoffs, is that more about bad luck or just bad ownership? -

Those words would be much bolder if these QBs weren't going to be 38 & 37 next year. Care to make another prediction Nostradamus? -

I highly doubt any serious owner who would buy this team would leave a few years later. If you mean an a hostile takeover buyer like Bon Jovi who only wants the team to move them, then I think it's fair to assume the money would be in a pot & redistributed back to you. -
Try the McKinley Grand it's where all the HOFers stay. Their is a nice martini bar on Main Street too they hang out the night before.

Faulk..Love his Hate for the Pats*
Dean Cain replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There's no denying the Patriots cheated. The moment Belichick rolled out the cheating apparatus he allowed there to be skepticism of the validity of their early victories. The fact that Goodell sent someone to Foxborough who destroyed all the evidence before an independent investigation could be done speaks to the nature of the cover up. -
EJ knee surgery, Tim Graham questions, draft QB?
Dean Cain replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Was EJ rushed to play before he was ready? Perhaps. Was EJ completely ready to play against New England week 1? Perhaps. The major cause for concern is that EJ had 2 surgeries to the same left knee within the course of the season. Tim Graham's article simply states that given EJ's injury history it would be short-sighted for the Bills not to draft a QB whom they feel can perform. -

Having a pretty good understanding of what it's like to tear my meniscus, I'm surprised EJs preseason injury healed so quickly. Derrick Rose decided to heal his torn meniscus the long-term way. Dwayne Wade healed it the fast way and has paid dearly with recurrent bouts of knee swelling - that plague him to this day. Wadeeven was quoted advising Rose to allow his meniscus to heal 100% and take the long road recovery.. I know EJ only plays 16 games per year, but the constant strain a QB puts on his knees, made me raise my eyebrow when the Bills elected for the quick & dirty surgical recovery method. -
I believe our needs are as follows: OL, LB, TE.

I'm sorry I don't agree with your fake conservatism. I've been reading you, Meazza & DC Tom for months. My take is you all can't get a hardon so you waste precious life on this worthless board. The true revolutionaries take to the streets. I'm done with you losers.

No Herman Cain was an idiot. He was winning the primary & he should have admitted he loved beautiful women. If he was guilty of anything it was loving women with big asses.

Tonya Harding really should come back & beat a cute girl up

Tea Party Patriots & any Koch Brothers backed hack group. The Tea Party is not our answer. What we need is a real voice. Ted Cruz is a f'ing fake.
