Anyone else notice that Josh again got punched in the head? It was on his TD run. After crossing the goal, defender tried to Punch at the ball and missed and instead hit him in the head.

Looking at the play above, that seemed like fine effort. The guy gets double teamed and gets around it, but pushed way back out of the play, as Mahomes is scrambling even further forward. I am not sure there is any DE in the league that is running full-out at that point. The Play was clearly way past Him.

honestly, on both sides. We had those chiefs d-linemen in head locks a lot today too. I don’t mind the refs letting that go both ways.

if they had reviewed that last catch, we would have been there all day, odds are that they say there isn’t enough evidence, and all the energy in that stadium and on D is gone. (Maybe I would be feeling a different way if it had a material impact on the game though?)

Agreed, and I like how they called that entire game. Let them play. We don’t need a hundred flags and constant huddling by the refs. refs let both teams hold quite a bit, but only called the most egregious. I also liked not reviewing the chiefs catch near the end. We don’t need a 15-minute review over the intricacies of the dumb catch rules. They kept the game moving.

Amazing but that game literally came down to one play. That 4th and 2. If Josh didn’t play hero ball, we lose that game.

I think we need to keep running duo up the middle, and get Davis in. Don’t be afraid of jones and the middle. Chiefs seem actually much harder to run on on the edges.

This is where the NFL catch rules are silly. Common sense says catch, and rules probably say not.

Catch or not, I haven’t seen a bills receiver make an adjustment like that on a ball. Really great play.
