Camp Battles - Stock Up or Stock Down
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am pretty sure you are right. Don’t get me wrong— I am a huge Ty fan. I was a proponent of getting him more carries last year. But Evans has looked shockingly good. He has actually shown the most elusiveness of any of our backs. -

I feel like people are writing off Darrynton Evans. He has looked pretty good running the ball. I wonder if he could displace Ty Johnson? -

Even some of Dorian’s good plays were actually caused by Andreesson diagnosing and then blowing up the play (and Dorian cleaning up). -
I Am The Real Buffalo Joe

You are our #1 Buffalo Joe! But can we talk about how the link you sent has an “article,” which is just Josh Allen holding a bunch of puppies? Only in Buffalo. Haha. -
Postgame thread (8/17/24) - Bills at Steelers

what’s weird is he plays scared, and then suddenly plays extremely recklessly. He has no poise in the pocket, and can’t seem to process fast or read defenses. He got totally fooled on a zone blitz by the Steelers on 3rd and 2, where he was staring at two wide open Bills players in the flat (but ended up taking a bad sack). Beyond that, I am not sure he even has any redeeming physical qualities. I have never really seen him make a “great” throw, so I have no idea why draftniks thought he had such a high ceiling. -

Re Kingsley Johnathan, I will admit that I didn’t watch him a lot. But he single-handedly blew up that last Steelers drive. I think he had a sack, TFL, and multiple pressures. always seems to flash when they have played him in the past. -
I have said this before, but reminds me of a young Travis Henry.

This Andrewwson kid is good!!

I am wondering if he got the start tonight because McD is seriously considering having him on the active roster. We will have a spot with Milano likely on IR. -

To me, Wilson looked okay. At least he made throws from the pocket. He took sacks, but that has always been a problem for him. Fields just ran around like a chicken with its head cut off. -

that ball came out really funny, almost like it was slicing away from Coleman fast. Don’t think he could have brought it in, even if he had laid out. -

I know we are all complaining about Trubisky, but Fields looked terrible. He has no ability to make a throw from the pocket. -
I watched all of trubisky’s games in Pittsburgh and he really regressed last year. I thought he would be out of the league…. Until we signed him. He looks even worse this year. His ability to process and make the right throws is terrible.

Trade for Case Keenum in Houston.

Bills @ Steelers - Preseason Game 2 - Sat 8/17 7PM

I would rather have Fields, but only because Trubisky is awful. Fields looks lost too, but at least he can run. -

Weather is very weird. I have a feeling they won’t play the starters based on field conditions. -
That has always been my impression. Seems like UGA football rules and the Braves get popular when they are winning. But Falcons and Hawks seem irrelevant for decades. When they had the Thrashers, I had a friend who is a Penguins fan who said he would pay like $10 for tickets when the Pens were in town. Pretty shocking, since it like $90+ ticket and total sell-outs for most NHL cities. No offense, but I just have a negative view overall of Atlanta as a meh city (though I have been to some nice parts).

He really grew on me. Just a “fun” announcer.

It’s too bad that they have no fans.

read an interesting article on ESPN that said that the WR talent is so saturated that there isn’t a huge production difference between #1 and #30. to me, I think that means you can win with mid guys. Wouldn’t surprise me if Shakir ends up with 900 yards and Samuel with like 700 (plus rushing yards). That’s not a huge drop off from Diggs/Davis, especially factoring in Kincaid’s likely increased production.

Brandon Aiyuk officially requests a trade
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Speaking to my steeler fan friends, they remain puzzled by this deal and all the hype. They don’t really want this guy. -

This is exactly the kind of guy you don’t pay. System receiver who thinks he is a top-5 guy, playing two teams just for money. -

Is the reason you season IR him to do some sort of injury settlement, as opposed to straight cutting him?
