  1. Good point. The problem seems to be when he is on the field, everyone knows he is getting the ball on a gadget. Would like to see him just run some normal routes.
  2. Agreed. I know everyone was raving about how smart Josh was, but I had the same reaction as you. I thought he played too tentatively on that and a number of other plays. for example, I thought he had a few pump fakes that were more due to him being tentative than trying to move defenders. I am fine with the week 2 “over correction”— but the best of Josh Allen is somewhere between week 1 and week 2 play.
  3. I am having trouble with easy toggling back and forth between games. Maybe it is just my remote, but I have to back out of the Bills game and go to “home” where I then look for other games. Then have to do the same when I want to get back to the Bills game. it’s not like DTV where I can just go up and down between channels, I don’t think. Any ideas?
  4. agree; the “clear and convincing” standard is never used.
  5. Haha— pats lost both games like this so far this year.
  6. Haha— enjoy the next 5 years of debates over this guy, Bears’ fans!
  7. Agree. I will give the dolphins credit. They have a very clever quick passing game, where the QB can just throw it to read no. 1 in rhythm most of the time. lot of those backs and receivers are in motion too, so you can’t get a good jam to disrupt the timing.
  8. Nice to see that we can still use the Benny Hill comedy soundtrack to play while watching the patriots offense.
  9. Tua predetermines most of his throws too. Works out most of the time with their receivers.
  10. I am not apologizing. I knew all along he would excel. Just look up my prior posts. 🤥
  11. I mean, you see a photo of gaunt hipster Brady and old man Kraft, and you just have to root against this team.
  12. interesting that New England seems to be in a deep shell instead.
  13. same. I don’t think I can help myself. Plus, it’s in New England, and so I like to see those fans suffer.
  14. constant “calf” strains is just another way of saying his Achilles is on the fritz. They need to shut him down for like 2 months or he will rupture it.
  15. totally agree. You are penalizing good coverage and rewarding a bad throw usually (underthrown ball). my solution is for the NFL rule book to say that an underthrown ball is not catchable for purposes of PI. As a receiver, if you have to come back into a DB like that, it shouldn’t be deemed catchable.
  16. which is perfectly fine. This jets offense can’t put together multiple long TD drives.
  17. Jacobs is the real deal too. Really an amazing bounce back performance by our D.
  18. Cowboys got that last turnover and didn’t do anything dumb and kicked a FG. That’s all we needed to do last week. Kick a few FGs and let the defense hang on.
  19. Dang, Captain! That is a brutal misspelling of the word “safeties.” 😂
  20. I need to see that. I randomly started reading the book recently, and it is great.
  21. I prefer that. I like the college way of reffing. They just mostly let them play, especially on holding and PI. Just call the super egregious stuff.
  22. Brown was helped by the refs too. He was holding Crosby quite a bit and it wasn’t called. (But the refs didn’t call it either way today— just let them play for the most part).
