I am with you. The fatter, the better. Need some big thumpers to hit some guys.

I am a little surprised that the Bills haven’t made some more moves at linebacker. That is a position where you can easily find some solid thumpers just off others’ practice squads. we view shaq as some savior. He is just a mid-tier ordinary linebacker. I would guess there are a bunch of comparable guys floating around to snag.

Game week thread - Bills at Texans TNF
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
We need to play this game like we have played the jets. no turnovers, very conservative on offense, let Houston make the mistakes. they have an elite defense and nothing on offense. Our ST and defense should be winning this game. -
Tyrell Shavers reminds me of John Stallworth....

I love the divergent views on Shavers. There was that one poster on here in preseason who called Shavers a total “loser.” Now someone else thinks he could be a HOFer!!! I love this place! -

apparently Sean Tucker is a HOF RB. -
I would love to see them put Davis and cook out there together more. On that 2-point misfire, how about using Davis as the FB instead?

Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things, and why we need it
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
i hear you. To me, it depends on the opponent. The slower pace is how we beat the ravens in the playoffs last year. Keep Lamar and Henry off the field, get a few turnovers, and hang onto win. I think it’s our best shot in the playoffs. Unfortunately, it’s wasting Josh— but it does protect our leaky defense. -

the main problem with the offense is the 32 points the Bucs scored. The only way our D succeeds is if our O plays a slower, TOP, ball control game with no turnovers and gets out in front a little. If we play on offense like we did yesterday, every game is going to be a barn burner. -

I did not have on my TBD bingo card the Shavers comp to hall of famer John Stallworth! -
doesn’t it seem like Milano looks heavier too? it’s amazing to think there was a time where Milano was the absolutely most critical player on this D. Unfortunately, he is a shell of his former self.

i saw him once. I didn’t see Hancock at all. Would love to know the snap counts.

A damning admission. Case closed! -

the issue with Josh, at least for me, was how wild the swings were today. The huge splash plays were great. But it still didn’t seem like he was in any sort of rhythm. -
I actually didn’t think poyer was terrible (think that second TD was on Milano). But he wasn’t good either. Did Hancock even play?

Our entire defensive scheme has always depended on Taron. That hybrid nickel is huge in this scheme. When Taron played at an elite level several years ago, it was great. He has been injured or slowed now for the last 2 years, and the D hasn’t looked the same. I actually think cam Lewis has looked a lot better. He’s at least making tackles and deflecting passes. -
Aaron Rodgers - possible broken wrist

rudolph is super solid. I always thought the Steelers should have just stuck with him over the last few years. -

Bernard is a train wreck. Milano is plain washed. Taron also hasn’t been good. i am at the point where I would like to see Shaq, Dorian, and Cam Lewis as the starting LB/nickel base. -
We need to play the cleanest game of the season. Play field position, ball control, and good ST. Win this game like 19-13.

I am not sure what I saw. Just felt like a wild and out of control game. The Moments of greatness carried the day. -
