nutting doesn’t understand the entire purpose of being a pro sports owner. You can’t just run the team to basically be profitable. What’s the point? You own this team for enjoyment and fun. You need to operate it in a manner that will increase that enjoyment! He can still make a solid profit while really investing in the success of the team. But he seems to run the team now like some penny-pinching private equity nerd— only trying to absolutely maximize profits. It’s so dumb.
