  1. it looks like he has taken several steps…. To the buffet line.
  2. I was referring to mid-season trades. How many in-season deadline trades in the NFL really panned out? I can’t really think of many.
  3. No. seems pretty rare than these types of trades ever work out.
  4. 1) Hamlin is washed. He plays way too tentatively. It’s understandable after his health scare. But before that incident, he at played faster and hit harder. 2) The reason Hamlin’s missed tackle rate is low is probably because he doesn’t even get into position enough to miss. At least Cam gets there, before he whiffs!
  5. wow! I didn’t think he was still in the league. Good for him!
  6. Give Tre some time. I think sometimes it takes really another season to come back from an Achilles. He won’t return to form, but I suspect he is still a lot better than that.
  7. wonder if he will basically be more of a Big Nickel?
  8. agree. Love Aldi for these reasons. I believe they also time their employees in the check out lines, so they have to move super fast.
  9. So classic. Right when he is starting to play halfway decently!
  10. i get what you are saying, but i think this is the wrong attitude. We are a great team and will have a lot of success. enjoy it! SB wins basically come down to a few plays here or there in the post-season. Not something that you can plan for. Just hope your guys make a few more plays when the game is on the line.
  11. i actually think it really works because Taron is just as good if not better in run support than any other LB we have. but given how critical Taron is to our D, I was really hoping we would invest in a high quality backup behind him. Cam is serviceable, but obviously can’t support the run nearly as well.
  12. I had the same thought as you, but then you think back to the first few games, and this offense is humming. And there have been times when Kincaid has run deeper routes and there have been connections. I would like to see more of Kincaid in the middle, but it is better than we all think.
  13. I have noticed the same thing. Moves almost like Fuzzy Zoeller at the 1984 Masters. maybe the Bills can bring back Rusty Jones to work with him?
  14. i was on board with Damar and Rapp, assuming we had Milano, Taron, and Bernard in front of them. They are being asked to do too much with their talent and with the entire middle of the D out.
  15. He’s not wrong. On the trick play drive, I assumed we would just keep running. We were getting like 5+ yards a clip there.
  16. We need to bring someone in and add them to the PS. This is getting bad with Bass. He’s now pushing kicks left, which is a totally new kicking flaw.
  17. Oh, I see. Gotcha. I think van Noy is usually pretty mediocre. But he basically blew that entire play up himself.
  18. I don’t blame Dawkins. Van Noy is like 5 feet to the outside. Almost impossible to get a good block. What makes it worse is that Samuel is running that way, so Van Noy naturally is staying wide. You just can’t run that play against that wide 3-4 formation.
  19. Van Noy was lined up way out to the right. That alone caused the play to fail. Once he hit Samuel, Samuel should have just hung onto the ball. But I think he was supposed to hand it to Josh who would move back into the pocket to throw. Instead, Samuel flicked it to Josh in a space where all the defenders were naturally moving to get Samuel.
  20. Morrow really fills out every inch of that 32 too.
  21. I think Bass needs a change of scenery. He is done here. the fact that he yanked that 48-yarder, as opposed to his normal miss to the right makes me think that he has just a bunch of band aides right now on his kicking issues.
  22. it’s weird. Samuels was like Deebo lite in his last year in Carolina. I assumed we were going to use him in the same way.
  23. Bright Spots: 1) DeWayne Carter made some great plays on the goal line stand. 2) I think we will see our offensive scheme morph some now. It has to expand beyond the short stuff, and I think it will now.
  24. 1) I think our D has benefitted the last two weeks by having other teams play from behind. 2) Pitt, Balt, and KC all have historically had game-wrecking pass rushers. When TJ Watt went out a few years ago, the Steelers defense went from like first to last in the league. Amazing what one all-pro rusher can do.
  25. It’s funny— thinking back on that game, I am not even sure what the ravens did on offense, except some basic hand offs and some short passes and screens. They just gashed us with them.
