  1. great thread! what about Max the butler on the TV Show “Hart to Hart”? Not sure he will be getting a ton of votes, but he was solid. edit: oh, and how about Tony Miceli on “who’s the boss?” He May actually get my vote!!
  2. haha— I was going to post the exact same thing. Anyone in the world > Rodak.
  3. My gut is that it is a tad too early to call. I will probably wait another 2 weeks or so.
  4. good call. That was THE show as a kid. I tried getting my kids to watch the new double dare and they’re very meh about it. The new one has Marc Summers as sort of not emcee, not the main host.
  5. maybe I am just dreaming about shredded lettuce. I had my sandwich about 6 months ago, so I may be misremembering it.
  6. I only had it once, but my vote is for Popeyes. The shredded lettuce and bun put it over the top. that said, the best fast food sandwich around is the original chicken sandwich from Burger King!! Amaright?
  7. I am surprised more elite players are not opting out. It won't hurt his value. May as well play it safe. And odds are the season will be a train wreck or partially canceled anyway.
  8. birds can sense my fear. I have problems with turkeys, pigeons, and geese. A pigeon almost flew into my head today, in fact. They just mess with me.
  9. I run into turkeys a fair amount on the golf course. I have had to leave my ball behind for fear of getting too close to those suckers. Your wife is brave!!
  10. whoa— turkeys!!?? I didn’t even realize raising turkeys was a thing. I am so used to seeing them run around in the wild out my way.
  11. My sister in law raises a bunch of chickens. They love it. The one issue is the predators, as someone else mentioned. But their eggs are great. They actually have a kid who has some sort of egg allergy, but is not allergic to the homegrown chicken eggs (probably an allergy to the chemicals they put in our store bought eggs!). i have another family member that opted for raising ducks instead. They eat their duck eggs— which weirded me out a little, but are not much different than chicken eggs.
  12. Wonder if teams will be waiting until the Opt our period is over to sign FAs like this. I can see some guys signing and then immediately opting out. (Im not sure how the salary works During 2020 if you opt out though).
  13. There was 0% chance he would play the entire season anyway. Probably a smart move by him.
  14. Ugh; this is a nightmare. We were so healthy last year, which was a key to our success. All I know is if Rusty were still here., this would have never happened!
  15. I think you “may“ see the teams that get some big positive outbreaks early in the year and in TC will be better positioned during the regular season. I don’t think anyone is seeking positive cases, but that may just be the consequence of big spikes now for a team. I say “may” because it sounds like COVID may operate like the flu, and so any immunity people get could be short-lived. So, who knows? Someone tests positive now may get it again in January.
  16. watched a re-run of this the other day on Netflix, and it didn’t age well for me. As a kid, I thought the show was riveting! Pretty Meh now (though agree the host was solid).
  17. count me as a Jim Perry fan too. Absolutely love him on Card Sharks!! I am too young to have seen it live, but have watched it on re-runs for years. Great show and great host!
  18. I suspect that BB and the pats are shrewdly encouraging this for certain players. They have to be viewing 2020 as a rebuilding/reloading year of sorts. They can rebuild while then adding an extra year onto the contracts of the opt-outs basically, as if you opt out, your contract tolls a year. it stinks that 2020 is the year when the Bills can contend, yet it probably is an ideal rebuild type year.
  19. haha— yeah, really. Nerds are the worst. as for me, i made the state championship at least a few times. Here was the tourney photo from my last title run:
