  1. I also think catching the ball is contagious. I saw a lot of guys out there that normally drop balls, make some tough catches. That JB TD wasn’t an easy catch. The Beasley seam route was an under throw and a tough catch. The Knox fade was not an easy catch. I am hoping Diggs has basically raised the bar for everyone.
  2. the concern for me is he missed two easy kicks and that third one he made was even really close. This was not a pressure situation at all— no fans, comfortable lead, easy kicks. How is he going to do when the pressure is really on? i was concerned with going with a rookie kicker, and remain concerned. Let’s hope he has great mental fortitude and can get over this first game.
  3. they need to teach him how to “scamper” like Mahomes, Lamar, and Wilson— Wilson especially. I don’t think I have ever seen him take a hit, and he always knows exactly how far to run and how to get out of bounds.
  4. okay— fine. Maybe aim left center. The guy has a push that looks like my driver right now. serious question, but was that inside 40? I thought it was a little longer.
  5. I studied a lot of this game tape. I Also have years of knowledge on placekicking. I believe the answer for Bass is to aim left.
  6. Can I still pick: Spiller up the middle for 2 yards?
  7. yeah, those are probably normal prices down there even in non-covid years!
  8. Yeah, I always get major nerves. I doubt I will eat much of anything. Maybe a rice cake and tap water.
  9. It’s a pretty ridiculous look, with it all getting fogged up.
  10. that was my takeaway too. Some really horrendous throws there.
  11. yeah— just don’t think they will let the offense loose in this game. I expect a low-risk gameplan on O.
  12. my expectations are low for what amounts to The first preseason game. I think it will be sloppy— lot of penalties and mistakes by both teams. I suspect the coaches realize this, and may be conservative to start the game, and maybe open the offense up in very small doses. I would be stunned if JA ended up with even 220 yards passing.
  13. was that last year? I thought that was the year before. He had a series of ridiculous mistakes two years ago.
  14. to be fair to Bojo, I was pleasantly surprised that last year he avoided a lot of critical mistakes (like not catching snapa). Was his punting good? No. But at least he didn’t lose us any games with boneheaded plays and 19-yard shanks (yeah, the bar is that low). Bojo seems like Rasputin— he’s a survivor!
  15. Agreed. It’s not pretending to be something else. Just a solid show, a little corny, pretty entertaining, and heavy on the nostalgia. For big-time KK fans like myself, we just eat up the nostalgia.
  16. It means a lot. A lot. Sincerely, Super Bowl Champion Rob Johnson
  17. my favorite movie of all time is the karate kid, and just started watching cobra Kai. It’s been great so far. I love the small things they do to take you down memory lane, with the same music, scenes at Daniel’s old apartment building, interspersing the flash backs.
  18. Bass is a sneaky good pick for a kicker. I have a feeling he’ll be getting a lot of chances this year.
  19. meh /me/ adjective uninspiring; unexceptional. "a lot of his movies are … meh" “Matt Cassel and Lamar Miller are... meh.”
  20. just consider the fact that, like any 1st preseason game, we will probably have like a dozen penalties at least; that’s going to be hard to get a lot going for any team. I think we have more talent, but this is probably going to be ugly for both teams.
  21. That’s where I am at. This game is going to be a mess for both teams. Just hoping to survive it and get the W— maybe win 17-13.
  22. would just prefer someone other than Smith. I am hoping Sweeney would develop into that role— plus he is more of a threat as a receiver.
